Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. One gold glazed to the interior, the other with an iridescent interior glaze in red and dark blue. The exterior of both with incised striations. The incisions of the smaller bowl are iridescent. Two interesting German Art Déco pieces from Carstens Uffrecht: interwar period design from around 1930, a small dish/ ashtray and a larger dish. Orange and blue geometric decoration against a mottled white ground, both on supports of distinct, sculptural shape. Raised factory mark and painter's signature. This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It has an artist’s signature on the bottom. The diameter of the box is 4 1/2 inches and it is 3 3/4 inches high. The box stands on three scrolled feet. It is made of fine, white hard paste porcelain with a high glaze finish. The painting on the lid and sides are delightful. There are fruits, vegetables and flowers hand painted with brightly colored enamels...
English Wedgwood Jasper Ware Pitcher, 4 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide with twisted rope handle, dark blue with beautifully applied and executed low relief classical design on dark blue body and the grape vine on top border is higher relief than classical figures below, the detail is very delicate and finely done, impressed mark "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" on the bottom, some dark stain on the white figures. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1930. It has a diameter of 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. The decoration is hand painted in a realistic manner with vibrant colors. The rim is trimmed with heavy gilding. This is a first quality plate in excellent condition.
