Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Small and beautiful cased opaline and clear glass bulb vase, with speckles in reddish brown to puce over the light blue opaline. By Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf glassworks. A few pieces in this series entered the collections of the National Swedish Glass Museum in 1960, hence the dating of this item. Height "1 ¾ / 4.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely. The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald" The dimensions of the bowl are: Height 2 1/2" (6.4cm) Width 4 3/4" (12cm) The condition of the bowl is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.

Kosta "Dark Magic" vase designed and hand-formed by Vicke Lindstrand. Vase stands 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) tall. Very organic form in gray cased glass. Color of vase varies with the angle and intensity of light. Vase does have a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) scratch on the surface, shown in photos. No other damage. Signed Kosta LH 1605/V. Lindstrand. Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.

This is a real vintage art glass vase. It is very elegant. It was designed by Edward Hald. It was made in Sweden in 1936.

There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this vase. However, there is a scratch about 1 3/4" on the side of the vase and a few others from use. It is not as clear as I would like it to be.

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. The Seaweed series with its streaks of mainly green and black uses the variation of Graal glass called Mykene, developed by V.L. while he was still working for Orrefors in the 1930s. This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs.
