Nice pair of vintage sterling silver candlelabra in a classic style. The double twisted-armed sockets unscrew so that they can be used as two single candlesticks, as well. The bases are marked "Empire Sterling Weighted".

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: excellent, all original, two sockets have a 1/16" ding on the lower sides, no monograms. Size: candlelabra, 9-3/8" tall, 8-1/2" wide; candlesticks, 6-1/2" tall.

A vintage 3" Dutch silver bookmark with a fine figural free spinning windmill on the top. This book mark has the sword mark used from 1906-53 and it has an unidentified maker's mark. A fine and vintage Scandinavian sterling silver pair of fish servers mady by the Finnish firm of Miettinen + Nurmi (1947-60). This pair has the date stamp for 1959 and 813H and the maker's mark. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed...

Cambodian Silver on Copper Elephant Box, 1960's, 9" wide, 5 1/2" high, 3" deep, in two(2) piece fit together, the condition is good.

An elegant set of six gilt sterling silver mint julep spoons, the bowls decorated in the form of a pair of overlapping mint leaves. The stems are hollow, so they can be used as sippers, too. The spoons can also be used for iced tea. The gilding is a beautiful, rich shade of gold. The spoons are marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

Early 1950's silver plate and enamel bowl, designed by Henning Koppel. This model was produced in more than one color and size and by more than one Danish silverware producer, the foremost being Georg Jensen. This bowl is marked (illegible)…dröste and Denmark. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.2 cm and height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear to the silvered surface as expected (cf. pics).

A fine silver tastevin inset with a 1772 silver 8 reales coin from the reign of Carlos III. The deeply-curved sides of the tastevin are decorated in a characteristically Spanish baroque style with ornate chasing and engraving. The handle is in the form of a curled dragon-like creature.

Though they were fashionable in France in the 19th century, coin tastevins only became stylish in Spain around 1950...
