A vintage mid century modernist ashtray by William Spratling with three ball feet, rows of five applied disks on three sides, and three horizontal cradles.

Measures 2 1/4" high and 3 1/8" across. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco Mexico and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40. In good condition, has some tarnish and very minor dings to the body and the feet. One of the disks on one row is slightly askew which adds to the hand made feel.

A Fine Pair of Arts & Crafts Bookends from California. Signed Stahler Arts. Albert Stahler (1881-1952) was active in Riverside, California and created the hand wrought Bronze doors for the Mission Inn. These bookends measure about 6 1/2" tall and 5" across. Great look and quite rare.

A Sterling Silver Sugar Caster or Muffineer in a Georgian Style, by Watson Co., Attleboro, MA for Bailey, Banks and Biddle. Note that picture shows a tilt, which is due to photo, not the caster. Dimensions; Height 6.5", Diameter 2.5" at the base. Weight 4.6 Troy ounces. Script monogram (RLC?) and in excellent condition.

Six Normandie sterling silver goblets. Made by Wallace in Wallingford, Conn. Each: Tapering bowl with curved bottom; cylindrical stem on gently raised foot. Dense floral border with pendants. Hammered silver sugar tongs from Martin Mayer in Mainz, Germany, c 1920-30. Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. Peter Behrens, Hans Christiansen and Patriz Huber are known to have worked for Martin Mayer. Of these, Behrens - one of the founders of the Deutscher Werkbund – is the most likely to have designed these sugar nips. German silver standard mark (crown and 835) and makers mark MM...

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red, meant to signify “go,” “caution,” and “stop.” Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.

Circa 1960's-70's, this Matl jeweled cross produced by Ricardo sits on a pedestal and is a hand-wrought work of art. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own. After 1980, Matl Salas pieces were also marked with MS-12. This cross pre-dates that mark. This is a magnificent and highly detailed cross, with pyramidal amethysts, turquoise and coral cabochons, tiny silver beading, and a coral branch...

Being offered is an exceptional and rare pair of circa 1955 sterling silver candlesticks by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Handcrafted, fluted candlesticks with silver spiraled carved wood rings at the center. Dimensions: 6 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches diameter; holds 3/4 inch diameter candles. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition.

A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

This mug was gifted and engraved on the bottom in 1969. In excellent condition, it measures 6 1/4" from bottom to top of handle, 5 1/2" from bottom to top of tankard, and 4 3/4" in diameter.

Stepped and domed foot; foot underside wood lined. Fully marked including Birmingham assay stamp, Boodle & Dunthorne maker’s stamp, and phrase “Boodle & Dunthorne / Liverpool”. Very good condition.

A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a syringe by Gorham. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe and then dispensed in precisely-calibrated medical dosages into your favorite cocktail. The syringe originally cost $10. The syringe is accompanied by an illustrated instruction card and the original fitted box.
