A pair of English sterling silver 2-3/8" candlesticks hallmarked Birmingham, England 1969. These small yet elegant candle holders are traditional in shape and they have felted bottoms. They have the maker's mark S.J.R (probably S.J. Rose, Birmingham (1887-) and they have never been monogrammed or initialled. A 2-1/4" tall vintage sterling silver baby christening mug. This cup has traces of the original interior gilding and it is stamped STERLING 226 with a lion maker's mark. This mug has been buffed to remove some old engraved initials, however some minor dents and faint traces of engraving remain...

Sterling Silver tray made in Austria c. 1925. It is perfectly matched with its removable glass bottom. It measures 14.5" in length including the handles, and 9.75" across. The cut to fit glass base is 11.5" long by 8.75" wide. It has four ball shaped feet. The overall weight of the sterling without the glass is about one pound.

Beautiful Gorham arts & crafts period (c. 1905) sterling and enamel spoon, measuring 5" long. It has blue, purple, red, and yellow enamel in a lovely arts & crafts design with a gold washed finish. The condition is very good with a slight enamel outage at the very top of the spoon (see photo). The spoon is marked "GORHAM hallmarks STERLING #870 and an "S" monogram at the back. A sweet sterling silver baby ring and teething rattle. The central silver piece shows a clock face where hands can be engraved to indicate the time of birth along with the date, year and the infant's weight. The back side can be engraved with the baby's name. The rattle is suspended in a lucite faux mother-of-pearl teething ring. These rattles are very difficult to find with no monograms or other engraving.

Set of 3 Midcentury Modern shot glasses. Made by Schofield Co. in Baltimore. Each: Straight and tapering sides. Engraved presentation from the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford Maryland. All awarded in 1950s for a comet class boat, which was a snug 2-crew vessel developed in Maryland in the 1930s. One has the boat name, the Eisenhower-era cozy domestic-sounding “We Two”. A vintage sterling silver napkin ring, the front decorated with three bears, probably an allusion to the children's story, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." The back is engraved "Tony" and the interior is stamped "Sterling".

A beautiful set of six silverplated scallop shell dishes by Tiffany & Co. The dishes are worked with wonderful detail—even the feet have a decorative treatment similar to snail shells. These dishes are perfect for butter, mints, nuts, or even individual servings of cocktail sauce. The bottoms are marked “Tiffany & Co/Makers/Silver-Soldered”.

A rare silverplate cocktail recipe disk by Napier. The silverplate case holds a celluloid dial that can be rotated to show printed recipes for twenty classic cocktails. A jump bail allows the disk to be hung by a chain around a cocktail shaker or decanter. The rim is marked "Napier Pat. Pend." We've never seen this particular Napier design before.

Origin: America, ca. 1935. Condition: very good, very minor plating wear as is typical of Napier pieces. Dimensions: 2" diameter.

Aesthetic movement hand hammered silverplate soup tureen featuring a large heron by Mermond Jaccard and Co of St. Louis, MO. In excellent condition, it measures 9.5" including finial and 12" diameter at widest. Circa 1920-1950

A mesh silver purse, c 1920-30, exquisitely worked, the brackets with roses and flower baskets. Marked Diana (design or model), German silver marks: 800, crown and moon. Width "6 ¼ / 16 cm, weight 274 grams. Condition: a very small repair near the left hinge (cf. last photo).
