A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

A sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a watering can by Cartier. When tipped, the dispenser lightly sprinkles a drip or two of vermouth into the glass for the perfect martini. The bottom is marked “Sterling” and is signed “Cartier”. These watering cans were made for Cartier’s New York store.

Rare vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the form of wing-handled fire bucket. The side is engraved “Fire Water.” Figural jiggers gained popularity in the Art Deco era. The bottom is marked “Lunt Sterling 15”.

Unusual sterling silver bird, an eagle or phoenix, from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, the intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands 5" high by 3.25" head to tail.

A handsome set of four sterling silver salt dips with cobalt blue glass liners. The silver walls are intricately pierced in the 18th century style and are raised on scrolled feet. The salts have fitted cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1934 and have an unidentified maker’s mark “WA” in a shield.

An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries. A Fine Pair of Arts & Crafts Bookends from California. Signed Stahler Arts. Albert Stahler (1881-1952) was active in Riverside, California and created the hand wrought Bronze doors for the Mission Inn. These bookends measure about 6 1/2" tall and 5" across. Great look and quite rare.

A classic sterling silver double jigger by Reed & Barton. Unlike most double jiggers, this style has the two bell-shaped measures joined directly at the middle rather than having a spacer, creating a more compact shape. The inside of one cup is hallmarked by Reed & Barton.

An Austrian bronze bottle stopper by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950. Modeled as a happy and sleepy drunkard, bottle in hand, leaning onto a sagging lamp post. Cork stopper still in place, stamped inscription: Henkes Delfshaven Holland. Henkes was a Dutch gin/genever producer. Height including cork "3¾/ 9,5 cm. Condition: fine.

An ornate sterling silver napkin ring fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1932 with a cutout monogram. Large sterling silver berry spoon in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" is filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The bowl of the spoon is decorated with mixed fruit including strawberries, apples, grapes and raspberries. The back is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling", the mark used between 1927 and 1961.

This wonderfully inventive Art Deco silverplate jigger measures 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 ounces. The cube joining the various cups shows measurements on one side and is stamped with the hallmark for Benedict Manufacturing Company (1894-1953) on the other. The cube is perfectly weighted so the jigger does not tip over when the upper cup is filled. This implement was created by the noted modernist designer Albert F. Saunders as a part of Benedict's "Modernistic" line...
