A Large Hammered Sterling Silver 1927 Golf Trophy from Sedlacek & Co. in Los Angeles. Blue enamel logo "A G C" with golf clubs. Engraved "Invitational Tournament 1927" and "Second Flight Winner." Measures about 9 1/4" across and 7" tall. Weighs about 37 ounces, this is not the silver weight, as the base is weighted. Impressive piece, being sold as-found, has dings to top edge, crimping and excess solder where bowl is attached to pedestal and scattered flaws. Nice period example.

Period art deco hand-carved ivory pendant showing the profile of a kneeling nude woman holding a vase of flowers, c.1920's and probably French. Measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide and in excellent condition.....$12 for insured US shipping.

Five(5) English "Staffordshire" porcelain Demitasse cup and saucers, Cups-2 1/4" high, 3" wide with handle included, and Saucers-4 7/8" diameter, 3/4" high-deep, "Chinese Willow" pattern, every piece have the marking on the bottom. One(1) cup has chips on the bottom rim, hardly noticeable.

Round decorative tile of an early steamship atop a Sherwin-Williams-type schematic earth, diameter 7 3/8" and about 7/8" thick at the edges. This is a hand crafted and no doubt unique piece; hand painted, and glazed. On the reverse is scratched into the ceramic what I take to be apparently the date: "11-7-22". There are two holes drilled at the top, through which a wire has been strung, to allow this to hang on a wall. See several thousand paintings, drawings and prints in my shop.

Soft wood (probably pine) carved shore bird decoy, likely 19th century, with authentic wear including missing paint, pellet holes, and broken off beak. The work measures approximately 9 1/2" by 6" extreme dimensions, not including the wood base. The eyes appear to be metallic tacks. I am not a decoy specialist but wonder if this might be by any recognized carver. In any event, the piece is a great example of folk art Americana.

Large Classical sterling silver covered urn. Made by Currier & Roby in New York, ca 1920. Girdled bowl with leaf-capped s-scroll side handles, stepped foot and stepped and domed cover with vasiform finial. Traditional form with extra oomph. Beautiful proportions and plenty of room for engraving. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Set of six Georg Jensen sterling demitasse spoons in the coveted "Acanthus" pattern. Each spoon measures 3 3/4" long. Four of the spoons are marked on the back with "GI" in a circle of dots, "Sterling", and "Denmark". These four spoons are circa 1915-1930. The other two spoons are marked "Georg Jensen" in a circle of dots, "Sterling" and "Denmark". These two spoons could be the same age, or possibly date later. They match perfectly. Excellent condition.

Vintage continental late Arts Crafts to Art Deco 835 silver signed ring with rose gold accents, carnelian and 30 all intact marcasites on an oval and cut work design. German - Austrian? Presently at 5.75. Resizing would require avoiding the 2 touch marks; one of a falcon facing right over 835 and the other of a J under a canopy?

German 800 silver wine trolly nef, ca 1920. A 3-mast galleon with billowing sales and complicated rigging. Gun ports open and cannons ready to fire. Lots of deck action, too with fighting swordsman and fallen sailors. Holds a special cargo because wood-style hull is a wine trolly. Figurehead spigot with threaded plug, and dolphin side mounts with rotating wheels for cruising across the table. Gives new meaning to the expression “getting sloshed”...

This beautiful lamp was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is 'Bittersweet' and shows orange berries and green leaves on a milk glass background. Approximately 13 inches tall and excellent condition. Art Nouveau clear glass decanter with silver overlay. Made by Black, Starr & Frost in New York, ca 1920. Oval bowl with flat foot, cylindrical neck, and everted rim. Ball stopper with conical mount, spool neck, and short plug. Dense ornament with stylized leaves in whiplash frames overlapping with intersecting lines. Stylistically transitional incorporating both the curvilinear and geometric. Scrolled cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Foot in silver collar as are neck and rim...

A complete Dunbar beverage set is hard to find. Usually the tumblers are broken and only the tray caddy survives. This style of beverage service called Bridge Set and its purpose was to be used at the card table. Although it is often referred to as depression glass, it was really manufactured in the 1920’s. This Victorian silverplate tea strainer has a shaped rim and handle with a lovely stamped pattern of scrolling leaves and flowers. Condition: very good, minor surface wear. Measurement: 5 7/8 in. x 3 _ in.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 Inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The cup has melon ribs and the saucer is scalloped on the rim. The ground color is deep forest green. It is decorated with white raised enamel flowers and gilded leaves. The design is simple and elegant. Condition: Excellent

European silver and enamel cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular, curved, and hinged. On cover, a horse’s head appears in an entryway, with two protective borzoi dogs standing guard. Stable drama against a semi-abstract background of brick and stone, and bluish ground. Gilt interior. Engraved monogram on back. Marked “900”. Very good condition with strong color.
