Beautiful lobed Kutani yaki dish in Yoshidaya style, modern. Decoration of camellia in white, aubergine, green, speckled yellow and gilt. The back with a character in gilt, possibly Qiu, meaning Autumn. It is also defined by Graesse in his classical work about pottery and porcelain marks as from the village of Shinomine in Arita. Hammered silver sugar tongs from Martin Mayer in Mainz, Germany, c 1920-30. Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. Peter Behrens, Hans Christiansen and Patriz Huber are known to have worked for Martin Mayer. Charmingly kitschy majolica figurines, a pair of musicians by Ditmar Urbach, c 1930. An accordionist and a flutist, in Robin Hood-like attire. Height "9½/ 24 cm. Printed mark Ditmar Urbach Made in Germany, impressed model numbers 14257 and 142 58. The mark was in use before the confiscation of the factory in 1938 . Condition: a nick to the hand of one musician and repair to the hat of the other, and to the feet of both (cf. photos).

Bowl or dish in Sommerso technique, clear glass and grass green, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glass works, Sweden. VL was appointed chief designer at Kosta in 1950, and the bowl was produced in the mid 50’s. The size of Figurine: 5" H x3 1/2" W x 2" D. This is Lovely Vintage Hummel Figurine, Boy w/violin and Puppy Dog. It is Made in W. Germany during period of 1958 - 1972. It has inscription signature of M. J. Hummel on the stand. The condition of Figurine is excellent. Please note the crackle glaze on figure is from original when the figure was in kiln and it is not forced crackle hairline. It was purchased in West Germany in 1970.

There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.

The canary canoe is 8 1/4" long and 3" wide at the center.
