Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. Made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 6 1/2" long and is in good condition except for the tip which has wear from use...

A vintage sterling silver napkin ring, the front decorated with three bears, probably an allusion to the children's story, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." The back is engraved "Tony" and the interior is stamped "Sterling".

This is a really pretty pair of ruby red Coin 8 Inch high single Candle Sticks made by Fostoria Glass. Both candle sticks are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or cloudiness, however the one candle stick has a black 1/8 inch smudge in the glass at the top of the candle holder. A distinctive and very uncommon Art Deco figural jigger in the form of an English riding boot (variously called a jockey, field or paddock boot). The details of the design such as the pull straps and seams are picked out in a raised design. The jigger is silver plated and is extremely heavy for its size, indicating that its made of a high quality white bronze rather than a simple base metal. The boot's sole is marked "Made In England/Silver Plated/Approx 1-1/2 oz"

This beautiful lamp was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is 'Bittersweet' and shows orange berries and green leaves on a milk glass background. Approximately 13 inches tall and excellent condition. This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. Elegant sterling silver basket of sterling silver, pierced to reveal a cobalt blue glass liner. The neo-Gothic style piercing is accented with a tiny band of beading just below. The basket is raised on a foot. The swing handle is unadorned. The bottom is hallmarked by Redlich.

A rare Art Deco mechanical "Trap Jigger" in chrome with red bakelite accents made by Fay. When the arms of the filled jigger are rested on the rim of a glass or jigger a plunger inside is forced up to allow the liquid to pour out the bottom.

Pretty sterling silver sardine fork in Manchester's 1951 "Amaryllis" pattern. The design is somewhat similar to Chantilly, and has a very Victorian feel. The fork could be used for sardines, as well as for a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The back of the handle is stamped with Manchester's hallmark.

This stunning vase of dark purple cut-to-clear glass is reminiscent of the fine work done by Bohemian or Belgian glassworks. It has a dramatic graduated shape and is molded with sharp, vertical panels with impressed elongated ovals. It stands 8 inches high with a rim diameter of 4 3/4 inches. A circa 1920's wood cut out picture, "Jack and Jill", 14" by 22" including frame, said to be "...a kit that had to be put together and then painted 'sometime in the 1920's", according to a small paper strip on backing. The work would add some accent to a child's room or nursery. I think it complete as it stands but cannot explain the central portion which seems to depict houses or rooftops...

This wonderful ivy or rose compote vase has all the bells and whistles of lovely Depression glassware. The cranberry flash bowl shows cut diamond lines with flowers at each intersection complimented by circle cuts to make a lovely art deco look around the bowl. The stem is a clear ball attached to the broad foot and pink bowl. The rim is clear and flares to a nice ruffle. This vintage piece stands 8" tall and is in excellent condition...

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #712 10 oz goblet in light blue. The color is a ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. Excellent condition. I have 6 available, price is per tumbler. 17114428 A scarce gold Favrile underplate for a cordial. The 3 inch diameter plate has a polished pontil and is signed “LCT G1478" by the polished pontil. The rim of the plate exhibits a very nice onion skin pattern. Under plates such as this are shown in a page from the 1902 Tiffany Studios booklet. A copy of this page can be found on page 54 of Robert Koch’s “Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronzes-Lamps.”
