Wow, this is what they all want the perfect, partially restored nailed head, 1930s French leather Club chair. Back and bottom cushions have been restored with our signature Pyrenees French leather. Gendarme Vintage Solo French Club Chair. Huge, comfortable French Club chair solo. The Gendarme back chairs get their name from the Shape of Napoleon and the French Gendarmes(Policemans hat) from the mid 19th century. A fine quality water pot for use on the scholars desk. The porcelain is very white and translucent. The fine blue art work shows two five toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl. There is a six character Guangxu Dynasty mark on the base, but it is not the mark used by the Royal Kiln. As the pot is not Imperial Ware we believe it was made during the Republic Period in Guangxu Style...

Very rare plant stand in 2 interlocking sections by Chase Brass & Copper Co., made for one year only in 1933, in simple and elegant Art Deco style, beautifully crafted in copper and brass, the two sections can be utilized as a unit and also work well as separate stands or candle holders.
