Gorgeous Chinese jade plaque set within a zitan wood stand, carved with an abundance of dragons and spiral/wave motifs. The backside of the jade is smooth with three gilt painted dragons. Size: 16" height, 26" width, 8" depth

This Chinese jadeite carving was made in 1970 by a jade carving student. He depicts the Chinese immortals Fu, Lu, Shou standing under what appears to be a peach branch, another good fortune symbol. The jade is polished having apple or mint green complexion.
