An interesting square porcelain brush pot with a long inscription of the Chu Shi Biao composed by the 3rd century strategist, Zhuge Liang. The inscription makes the argument that the state of Shu Han must fight against Cao Wei. The calligrapher at the end signs and dates the piece: The 23rd Year of Kangxi, (inscribed by) Wen Fang. Chinese low bowl done in famille verte with a reticulated rim done in a dark blue glaze. The plate shows 4 men enjoying outdoor activities by a lake in a mountainside setting. The underside contains a red Lingzhi fungus mark.

Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Pepper or Salt Shaker, 2 5/8" diameter, 1 1/8" high, made late 1880's, "Long Life" Chinese Character written in three(3) areas inside the circle, enclosed by typical Rose Medallion pattern with overglaze Famille Rose colors of the roses and butterflies in gold highlight. Marked "China" in red on the bottom and large hole for cork stopper.

A Chinese qinhua or blue and white vase, beautifully painted, in the form often seen in archaic bronzes known as a gu, or a wine vessel. The vase is decorated with framed sections of views of landscapes and scholars near an embankment. The images are surrounded by cloud patterns with the character longevity done in the seal script. The vase has a Kangxi mark, but most likely republic period. Size: diameter 4.2 in. height 9 in.

A fine copper-red-glazed bowl. The deep rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a gently everted rim, covered overall in a deep red colored glaze fading to white at the rim. The base and the inside white. The base with a six-character Kangxi imperial mark in underglaze-blue within a double circle.
