A framed lithograph entitled "Horse" by the artist, Kaiko Moti (1921-1989). Moti was born in Bombay, India. He studied at the Bombay School of Fine Art and spent time living and working in Paris. He is most famous for his images of horses. This lithograph is signed in pencil and numbered 15 of 100. Framed.

Tibetan shamanic horn whose local name is Nag Ru or sometimes also Thun-rva. This horn can contain either incense or essentially vegetable matter with medicinal properties. Presence of sculptures of some auspicious symbols, chorten, turtle, dorgi, mandala. The tapered part represents a Makara mouth which has an orifice to project the contents during rituals. A drum handle from a gompa used by a lama. The handle can be removed for a better handling, especially when the lama had to go for a family ceremony, marriage, funerals etc. the drum; the drum is quite heavy as it is made in a single piece of wood with almost no figurative carving only one chimeric animal on each side. Total height is about 94 cm; handle is 54 cm diameter 42/44 cm and thickness 20 cm.

Large size gurra, the long stick consists of 4 beautifully carved long strings with an open space between them which demonstrates fine carving craftsmanship. A realistic rope knot is in the middle. Interesting set of two Indian or Nepalese silver figurines of musicians, c. early 20th. century.

The figures are made of fairly high grade silver, at least .800 or more. They are well-made with lots of added bangles and both playing instruments.

Strand of “drum” shaped white glass beads from the Nyishi ethnic group of Aranchal Pradesh, north east India, strung on hand made hemp cord. The size of Covered Box: 2 15/16" Dia x 5" High Box alone, 6 3/4" High with wooden stand. Stand 4 1/8" Square. The covered box is made with Soap Stone carved around the box with Elephant design. 1/8" depth carved. Two little elephant on top as knob. they are also carved from soap stone. The condition of Box and cover excellent condition. Very little wear. The stand has one little cut error on one corner. It is made in India. The age of item from 1960-1970's.
