Japanese cloisonne small vase with blooming roses. There is a fully bloomed red rose and a small budding red rose. Along the base, there is a blooming white rose with pink edged petals. The body of the vase is a cool white. Taisho period, early 20th century. It measures 1.75" base diameter, 4" widest, 5" tall. Good condition.

Small blue Japanese cloisonne vase with traveling scene. The body of the vase is cool blue with a dark blue mountain behind a building surrounded by trees. Three travelers approach as they pass a cliff with a cypress tree. Showa period, 1920-1930. It measures 2" at the base5.25" tall,1.5" wide mouth.

An interesting Japanese cloisonne hexagonal vase decorated with motifs of chrysanthemums. The cloisonne is done in a technique aka-sukashi, ginbari, where the metal base contains a pattern which is showing through the red cloisonne glaze. This is a small nicely done Japanese Cloisonne vase with a gold wire butterfly. The enamel is of high quality and it appears like it could be a later Hayashi piece. It stands 3 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. Just has come wear to silver on rims. It is not signed.

This is a very attractive Vintage Japanese cloisonne vase designed with a contemporary style or deco look. We have never seen another like it. The vase is rather large and is signed Sato. It stands 7 1/2 tall and is 8 1/2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with only a little pitting on the bottom rim. This is probably the finest cloisonne example we have seen produced from this company.

Japanese Late 20th Century cloisonné enamel koro (incense burner). Raised wire design of trees. The koro stands on three small feet. The koro measures 6 1/8" tall by 3 1/4" in diameter. Comes with wooden storage box. There is some slight darkening of the color of the body of the piece, in the lower area, from use.

The is a very rare large Koi vase created by a master. The koi are large and much finer than most ever seen on this style of vase. The vase is 9 1/2 tall and 11 1/4 inches wide. Rims are silver with an old Jungin stamp. Condition of this vase is excellent.

Wonderful use of moriage (piled-up enamel) techniques, beautiful work, excellent patina, in perfect condition. Most probably made by the Ando company. Length 3 inches.

This is a beautiful small cloisonne vase decorated with with 7 butterflies of different sizes. Stands 4 3/4 inches tall. It is stamped Japan on base so it was probably made sometime between 1920& 1930. The enamel colors and style look like a few Ando pieces we have had from this time period. Condition is excellent with just wear to the rim coatings
