A farm house with thatched roof shines light from a single window. Rows of crops are illuminated blue in the night. With black 6mm seal. Publisher: Watanabe Shozaburo. Produced during the lifetime of the artist.

Japanese woodblock print by the artist Amano Kazumi. The print depicts a lively scene of a banquet in the entertainment district with geishas and other performers. Some geishas dance while others serve sake while the men eat, drink and enjoy. The print is signed and dated 1957. Total size in frame: 19" high x 47" wide. Size of image: 12" high x 41" wide.

Amano Kazumi was born in Takaoka City, Tôyama Prefecture...

Japanese kappazuri stencil print by the artist Yoshitoshi Mori. Mori developed his distinct style using the kappazuri print technique and grew to fame, exhibiting his work around the world. His distinct style shows how he was influenced by his work as a textile designer and dyer of kimono fabric, a job he had when he first graduated from art school. This print shows figures under a row of lanterns on Nakamise Street in Asakusa. Signed in pencil and unframed...

Full margins. Very good overall condition. The print is slightly faded and there are a few tiny foxing spots...
