This really pretty 6 1/4 inch high pink frosted mist footed Candy Dish with Lid was made by Westmoreland Glass. The original Westmoreland Glass label is still attached to the side of the candy dish. A cocoon shaped basket of tight weave with bamboo insert made for wall hanging by Maeda Chikubosai II enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Kake Kaki (Hanging Flower Receptacle). It is roughly 16 cm (6 plus inches) diameter, 19 cm (7-1/2 inches) tall and is in excellent condition.
Maeda Chikubosai II (1917-2003), was born when his father, Chikubosai I (1872-1950) was already quite mature...
