Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This 16 piece set is the Small size Stippled Band and includes the teapot and lid, 4 plates, 4 cups & saucers, sugar & creamer. Shinning black thick patina, the forehead is clear as it was likely covered with a skin. Hard wood, Obvious signs of good age at least from early 20th H 28 cm , w 20cm.

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber. There is some very light utensil markings in the bottom of the bowl, otherwise it's in excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Normandie is a depression glass pattern often called by the carnival glass pattern name 'Bouquet and Lattice'.
