DESCRIPTION: A colorful pair of Chinese cloisonne deer, both standing foursquare with heads turned, their bodies decorated with a profusion of designs including dragons and taotie masks, all on a turquoise blue ground. These are a nice larger size, perfect for a table centerpiece. Republic Period (1911 - 1949); very good condition. DIMENSIONS: Each 15.5" long (39.3 cm) x 15" high (38 cm).

Ikebana basket (hanakago) made of bamboo wickerwork of elongated cylindrical shape. Accompanied by a natural bamboo vase and a carrying box.

Signed Nakata Kinseki (中田錦石, 1902-1959) on the underside of the basket (錦石作, Kinseki saku, "made by Kinseki). He is a disciple of Iizuka Hôsai II (1872-1934). Iizuka Hôsai II, originally from Tochigi Prefecture, moved to Tokyo in 1910 where he continued the family tradition of bamboo art...

Anchor Hocking Bubble (Boopie) 16 oz. Lemonades were made from 1940-65 (7" tall). Commonly called Boopie. Many people purchase this less costly style to compliment Imperials' Candlewick. But I have a mystery here . . . The lemonade is suppose to be 6" tall, NOT 7". Anybody have an opinion here? Five are available. All in mint condition.

This is a really nice elegant glass crystal mist yellow Oriole 6 inch high Bell made by Westmoreland Glass. This bell is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The clapper is attached inside the bell. The Oriole bird decoration is very good. The original Westmoreland label is attached and is in very good condition. Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. Made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 6 1/2" long and is in good condition except for the tip which has wear from use...

Extremely fine triple cased sommerso decanter attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. With a cranberry colored glass core cased inside a layer of vivid blue, cased again inside lavender. The effect of the three layers of colored glass is stupendous. This lovely decanter has a slightly flattened form and stands over 16.25" tall to the top of the stopper. In excellent condition.
