(A) Antique large hand painted satsuma button figural ceramic earthenware with red, yellow, blue, green purple and gold paint. 33mm or 1.25" across. Odd shape self shank - see image 3.
(B) Smaller but just as beautifully and masterfully painted teal and lucky pale blue bamboo with gold outlines against a creamy slightly crazed convex background. 7/8" / 22mm. Self shank is marked JAPAN.

This is a KYOTO SATSUMA VASE on a Cobalt Ground. There are 3 Painted Panels incl. 4 FIGURES; a PAGODA SCENE; and ARHATS or DEITIES. Rich GOLD Enamels. This is a KYOTO SATSUMA EARTHENWARE MUG or Large Cup. Found via a Southern States buying excursion this mug is 4 3/8" tall and is 5 3/8" across outside edge of handle to outside edge of the mug. Circa 1875 to 1900 note the Beautiful PEACOCK and the Floral decorations. Gilded Mark on a rust background. The Condition is EXCELLENT

This is a KYOTO SATSUMA EARTHENWARE VASE circa 1875 to 1900. Painted with Rust & GOLD there are two Primary Painted Scenes. Those being the SAMURAI Panel and another Panel with CHILDREN Playing. Size of this SATSUMA VASE is 4 1/2" in diameter X 6 1/2" tall. At the top the Dragon Motif Handles. Additionally, Painted Butterflies on the sides. A Very Desirable ANTIQUE KYOTO SATSUMA VASE. This is an ANTIQUE SATSUMA SMALL VASE from an Eastern Shore of Maryland Estate. The size is 5 3/4" Tall X 2 1/2" at the Widest point. This prewar satsuma reclining cat is 9 inches long, 5 ½ inches wide and 4 inches tall. It is in good condition. Some color has rubbed off.

Late 19th or early 20th century Japanese satsuma bowl is 2 ½ inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. It has a magnificent insect and floral design on both the interior and exterior. It has an old repair on the rim and a small hairline crack. Signed.

Early 20th century Japanese square satsuma plate is 7 ¾ inches by 8 inches. It has a raised floral and peacock design with houses and a lake in the distance. It is signed ¡°Hododa¡± and is in great condition.

20th century Japanese satsuma vase is 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It depicts several geishas walking on a path near a lake during spring. There are mountains in the background, flowering trees in the foreground and houses surrounded by trees. It is signed ¡°koshida.¡± It carries a gilt circular rim with multicolor flowers below and around the bottom. It is in great condition.

Beautiful Japanese Satsuma mint dishes with Japanese price tags on the back. They are signed and in new condition, circa 1950 to 1960.

A pair of pre-war Japanese hand painted Satsuma style bowls. One depicts a samurai holding a sword with skeletons at his side. The other depicts a lord carrying a vase. Both bowls are irregularly shaped. Not signed and in very good condition. H: 2 ¼ inches, Diam: 5 ½ inches

This unique antique Japanese vase with four handles has a creamy grayish colored body with crackles and numerous pinholes. A couple of crackles are missing (shown in the photo) at the foot. It is 11 1/2 inches tall, circa early 1900s.
