Rare kinetic showstopper designed by Bent Gabrielsen while he worked for iconic Danish silversmith Hans Hansen. In textured sterling silver with a dangling disc that has a gold wash. The disc has a pitted texture which contrasts beautifully against the vertical pattern of the body of the pendant. This is a large, bold piece, measuring 3.25". Excellent condition. Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period rectangular form porcelain plaque painted in famille rose enamels and gilt highlights with a crane on a pine branch above thick leafy flowers. A poem at the upper left is dated in Chinese cycle years to winter of 1902 and signed Jiang Yongyuan (active circa 1899-1919) at Zhushan, a district of Jingdezhen. This attractively-shaped porcelain jar was made during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. Both jar and cover are decorated in underglaze blue with scrolling floral and lotus patterns, and coated in a silky smooth glaze. The inner surface of the jar is also glazed whereas the underside of the cover and the recessed flat base of the jar remain unglazed revealing the pale porcelain body.
