An unusual rectangular small Koro, Incense burner, decorated in under-glaze blue, iron red and gilding set upon four small feet. Each side of the censer is decorated with bands of diaper brocade inset with rectangular panels containing stylised arabesques set against an iron red ground. The square end panels suggesting a Taotie mask.

A pair of cobalt blue glazed Sake cups with hexagonal notched rims. Each cup is decorated in gilt with a pair of Hollander figures preforming martial exercises with Halberds. The cups date to around 1780 and the Meiwa era.
The cups measure 7.5cm or 3 inches in diameter, and stand 5cm or 2 inches high, and are in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration, save for one minute rim frit to one of the cups.

The landscape is portraying the view of the noted Song Dynasty literati scholar, Su Dongpo having a boat ride at Red Cliff. The motif is based on a hand scroll written by Su Dongpo reminiscing of the fun he had with his friends and the poems that were composed. A fine square form dish kakuzara decorated with a scene of a large Pavillion or Temple Complex set upon a lakeside shore with Peony scroll motifs to two corners and a high foot ring with traditional comb foot. This is a very fine set of Japanese Imari Nesting Bowls. It is rare to get a set of this quality in this fine of condition. These bowls are old and they are antiques. The largest bowl measures 10 inches across and 4 1/4 tall. The condition is excellent on all three.

These jubako was used specifically during the New Year festival.
The containers measure approximately 25cm high and 18.5cm in diameter and weighs 2.810kg in total weight.
