Folk Art Duck Decoy hand carved from wood with yellow eye created from a thumb tack, 19th century. The bird is painted black with white highlights and a grey beak. It has a leather strap on the base for pulling the decoy in the water.
CONDITION: signs of wear on leather and on the base. The yellow thumb tack is probably a later replacement.

A pair of antique 19th-century Islamic Malaysian silver bowls, each of circular form, stands on three small semi-spherical feet. Around the body, twelve repoussé and hand-chiseled Persian-style medallions amidst trailing tendrils decorate the body; the bases are decorated with roundels containing a large sword kris and scabbard among foliage.

Extremely rare antique 14th-15th-century Central Asian, Timurid Islamic Indo-Persian combat steel helmet.

The helmet's hemispherical shape is crafted by hand-hammering a single piece of solid steel. The interior shows visible hammer marks, while the exterior is entirely smooth.

The skull is adorned with a hand-chiseled in low relief series of eighteen narrow ribs radiating vertically from the top of the helmet...

This is a highly unique and rare antique Japanese dirk that dates back to the late Edo Period. It features an old Koto samurai tanto dagger blade with a signature inscribed on the tang. The signature is attributed to the swordsmith "Kaneyoshi" from Mino Province. The blade is from the early Muromachi period (Ouei era), which was approximately 600 years ago.
