This is a finely hand-carved Japanese Netsuke made during the Edo Period (18th Century) that depicts a Chinnan Sennin. He is standing on one foot, and he is dressed with a long robe. He is holding the string of large hat over his right shoulder. Excellent detail and expression. Great two-tone patina. Large himotoshi, common of netsuke from this period. Unsigned.
