The name comes from the cracks in the ice on Lake Suwa, that is said to be the footprints of God. The blue cracks glaze crawls and plays over the white glaze. The shape is very comfortable, with a rounded body inviting the hand to hold and touch. Inside is all glazed, maing it very easy for whisking the frothy tea.
