A fine large bronze buddha, Burma or Northern Thailand, ca. 16th. century.
He helds both of his hands in a gesture of exposition or teaching (vitarkamudra) that in India is confined to the right hand. Professionally mounted on round black wooden plint.
Height: 39,5 cm. incl. the low plint and ca. 35 cm. alone.
Condition: Choice! Fine dark brown patina.

An important very early bronze Buddha, Thailand, c. 14th. century.
The artfully made buddha with a lovely serene expression, seated in deep meditation on a throne or base, now partly lost. An excarvated figure with remnants of gilt on the body
Size: 22 cm. tall.
Condition: Very nice for the extremely old excarvated type, some light restoration and part of base lost due to corrosion. It's stands fine and straight though.

An impressive bronze rain drum, weighing 16 kilograms, Dong Son culture, 1st. millenium AD.
A fine Heger 1 type bronze drum with a 12 ray star in the center and concentric panels of circles, points, triangles, comb and saw teeth decoration on the tympanum. The drum is very early and perhaps even ancient and is without the later frogs etc. seen on the drums of the Karen tribe. 2 handles in each side.

A pair of choice condition blue & white porcelain small vases, made during the Wanli Reign of the Ming Dynasty, 1573 - 1620.
Finely decorated in a thick white glaze and decorated in underglaze blue. The decoration is floral and the glazing is finely crackled and patinated, so they are very attractive in hand!
