Large feudal style Shigaraki mizusashi by veteran potter; Ogawa Seiho. Fired in an anagama, there is rich ash deposits and hi-iro around the pot. This mizusashi is timeless with vintage style tsuchi-aji, clay flavor making for a wonderful and contemplative keshiki landscape.

The mizusashi measures 25 x 16 cm. and is in excellent original condition and comes with a custom made roiro black lacquer lid and its original signed box.

A very large (oburi) and powerful Shino chawan by Miyamura Yoshinobu very reminiscent of Hayashi Shotaro's works. Thick splashes of pure white Shino glaze punctuate the rusty red Aka-Shino glaze which covers the entire teabowl.

This chawan measures 5.4" X 4" and is in perfect condition and comes with it's signed box.

An excellent example of the great works being made today based on Momoyama era Mino-yaki...
