Museum quality sterling and Burnham turquoise nugget belt buckle by Frank Patania Sr., c. 1940. Frank Patania Sr.(1899-1964)was born in Italy. This silversmith came to the U.S. at an early age settling in the Southwest and achieved great recognition for his blending of European and Native American design. This beautiful belt buckle measures 3" by 1" and is in fine original condition.It weighs 42 grams. Signed for Frank Patania Sr. as shown. Spectacular craftsmanship and materials.

A rare and spectacular mid-century modern sterling pin by Carmen Beckmann. The center features 2 Mexican jelly opals and green stones that I believe are tourmaline. The stones are bezel set and the color combination is striking. The irregular shapes of the green stones and the varied lengths of the jutting silver spokes make this design fascinating. It is unique down to the clasp which is a simple "C" clasp with an interlocking safety catch that slides up to hold the pin securely in place...

A superb modernist design 970 silver belt buckle by Antonio Pineda. Sleek and sophisticated, there is a slight gold wash on the triangular shaped center piece and a line and dot of black enamel. It measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/8" at the widest part. The weight is 33 grams and it is signed for Antonio Pineda as shown. Very 1950's and very wonderful.

A rare and extraordinary brass cuff with repousse stylized fish motif by Hubert Harmon. The fish have a large cabachon onyx eye and their scales are three dimensional. Hubert Harmon set up a small workshop in Taxco around 1940. His designs are whimsical and unique. All of his work is highly valued and it is almost impossible to find. This cuff measures 3" wide and is 6" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening so 7 1/2" total. It is in fine original condition and weighs 98 grams...

A terrific c. 1960's Gucci silver plate and enamel belt in the original Gucci box. Great navy and baby blue striped enamel in excellent original condition. There are no chips, cracks or damage to the enamel. The 10 panels are hinged so the belt folds and fits into the box which is also in very good condition. These pieces have been well cared for. The belt measures 33" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide at the belt buckle and 1" wide at the striped panels...

This is a magnificent, handmade, c.1930-40 sterling and amethyst bracelet in the style of Fred Davis. Possibly by Fred Davis but signed only Silver Mexico. The large, chunky, amethysts are a bright purple and faceted into a round dome. They are free of chips or cracks. The stones are a great compliment to the graceful, flowing silver design. Measuring 8" end to end and 1 3/8" wide, this is a massive bracelet weighing 116 grams...

A charming chain and dangling ball sterling necklace by Horacio Parra. Horacio de le Parra was a manager in 1950 of Conquistador which was the largest silver factory in Mexico at the time. He was a friend of both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar. This piece is certainly of the same quality as their work. It measures 15" end to end and is 1" wide. Weighing 104 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A wonderful necklace.

A spectacular early 970 silver and moonstone necklace by Antonio Pineda. I believe this design of alternating silver leafs and moonstone clusters to be quite rare. The moonstones are beautiful, clear and blue and free of any chips or cracks. They are all original and none have been replaced. The necklace measures 15" or so. It is curved to fit the neck so hard to get an exact measurement. It is 3/4" wide and weighs 108 grams. Signed as shown in the photo...

A charming agate geode and sterling pendant and matching earrings by Scottsdale, Arizona Modernist artist Ray Graves(b.1921).He opened his shop "Gra-Wun" in 1959 and closed it in 2001. "Gra-Wun" is also the mark on his jewelry. The geode slices are vibrant colors of blue and green.The settings holding the geodes are all one piece and beautifully form the prongs. These clip back earrings measure 1" diameter and the pendant is a tad smaller at 7/8"...
