A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. The bracelet is 6 3/4" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the front.It weighs 60 grams.Signed for vintage Sigi Pineda as shown. A really special bracelet from this great designer.

A beautiful and unique ring by Carmen Beckmann composed of 5 silver bands with a scroll design alternating with stones of turquoise and amethyst quartz. In 1949, William Spratling signed a contract with Conquistador, a large silver factory in Mexico, to provide designs that were to be manufactured and sold by this company. I believe this large, stunning star shaped pendant to be one of these pieces. One of the most beautiful early pieces by Matilde Poulat that I have yet found. This c.1950's sterling, turquoise and amethyst bracelet is exceptional in every way. All of the stones are intact and look to be original. The amethysts are vivid purple and all stones are free of damage. The bracelet measures 8" end to end and is 1 3/4" wide. It weighs 72 grams and the push in clasp snaps tightly shut. Signed and numbered for Matilde Poulat "MATL" as shown. This piece is a treasure.

An extraordinary amethyst and silver bracelet by Fred Davis, c 193. The weight and mass of the large rectangular amethyst stones is complimented by the open design of the silver links. A wonderful, whimsical pair of copper cuff links and matching tie or money clip by New York Modernist Frank Rebajes. The pieces are ornamented with gears and THEY MOVE!
