A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. The bracelet is 6 3/4" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the front.It weighs 60 grams.Signed for vintage Sigi Pineda as shown. A really special bracelet from this great designer.

Beautiful vintage Hermes Paris enamel bangle bracelet and matching earrings. It is rare to find a set such as this. The colors are bright, vivid, blue, red, white and gold. A beautiful sterling mid-century modern link bracelet by Danish designer Carl Gustav Hansen, the son of Hans Hansen. The clasp is an ingenious screw bolt. The bracelet is very fluid as all of the links move. Elegant and sophisticated, this piece measures 7 3/4" end to end and is 3/8" wide. It weighs 28 grams. Great original condition. A beautiful and unique ring by Carmen Beckmann composed of 5 silver bands with a scroll design alternating with stones of turquoise and amethyst quartz. The depth of color of the amethysts vary from dark to light and one of the light stones has a tiny nick on the surface that looks much bigger in the photos due to the extreme magnification. It in no way detracts from the ring and actually looks like a natural inclusion.The bands are connected together by a silver bar in the back of the ring...

In 1949, William Spratling signed a contract with Conquistador, a large silver factory in Mexico, to provide designs that were to be manufactured and sold by this company. I believe this large, stunning star shaped pendant to be one of these pieces. Measuring 4" long and 3" wide, this eight spoked star has two diagonal sections with azurite fused into the silver as the focal point of the piece.Solid at 30 grams. One of the most beautiful early pieces by Matilde Poulat that I have yet found. This c.1950's sterling, turquoise and amethyst bracelet is exceptional in every way. All of the stones are intact and look to be original. The amethysts are vivid purple and all stones are free of damage. The bracelet measures 8" end to end and is 1 3/4" wide. It weighs 72 grams and the push in clasp snaps tightly shut. Signed and numbered for Matilde Poulat "MATL" as shown. This piece is a treasure.

A fantastic sterling and azur-malachite necklace and matching screwback earrings by Taxco silversmith Enrique Ledesma. Known for his impeccable way of fusing stone with silver, this set is an astounding example of his skill. The teardrop shaped links are vertical and then horizontal. An extraordinary amethyst and silver bracelet by Fred Davis, c 193. The weight and mass of the large rectangular amethyst stones is complimented by the open design of the silver links. I believe this bracelet to be quite rare. It measures 7 3/4" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. It weighs 88 grams. It is in fine original condition with only a tiny line and ding to the edge of one of the silver rounds. It in no way detracts from the piece. I mention it only for total accuracy...

Beautiful mid-century modern sterling and amethyst earrings by Antonio Pineda. Boomerang design with a a tear drop cabachon amethyst, these earings are screwbacks and measure 1 1/8" long. Fine original condition and hallmarked with the Antonio crown and the eagle mark. Great looking!

An early piece by Los Castillo, c 1940. A huge sterling pin of a flying fish with a center blue glass stone. A bracelet with this same fish pattern is featured on page 80 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Magnificent detail and a feeling that the fish is in motion. This piece measures 3 1/2" by 2" and is in fine original condition. It weighs 35 grams. Signed and numbered for Los Castillo. Bold and strong.

From a private collection, a fabulous sterling and tortoise belt buckle by William Stratling. It measures 3" by 1 3/4" and weighs 43 grams. It is in beautiful original condition. A belt buckle with this same silver and tortoise combination is featured on page 56 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Appropriately signed with the last Spratling mark and the eagle 30. An important and exquisite piece for the Spratling collector.

A wonderful, whimsical pair of copper cuff links and matching tie or money clip by New York Modernist Frank Rebajes. The pieces are ornamented with gears and THEY MOVE! Your favorite mechanic will love these. The cuff links measure 1/2" by 1/2" and the tie clip is 3" by 1/2". Great original condition, the cuff links and tie clip are each signed REBAJES. Very very cool.

An outstanding, huge sterling repousse bird pin by Matilde Poulat. This is an early piece with her embossed script MATL mark. This impressive bird with a turquoise eye measures 4" long and 2 1/4" wide at the plumage. In fine original condition, I believe it to be quite rare and certainly astounding. The detail is magnificent.A fabulous coat or blazer pin.

Featured on page 180 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill, this is the 3-D Wave Bracelet by Antonio Pineda. She dates this piece c. 1955-60.This bracelet was made in several sizes and weights and this is the largest scale of this bracelet made. It is a spectacular 175 grams of 970 silver.The crescent shaped links are hinged and there is lots of movement to this bracelet.It measures approximately 7 3/4" around in the inside and is 1 3/8" wide.
