Fine Chinese Armorial Bowl.Decorated with underglaze blue diaper borders and famille rose enamels with the Coat of Arms of ROBERTS quarterly with FENTON in pretence. (See Howard P 717). This service was made for John Roberts of Bonington, Hertfordshire, UK. He was a Director of the East India Company, 1764/1808 and Chairman in 1776 and 1802. This service was made C1785. Chinese Blue and White Teapot with stylised Cockerel spout and handle. The body decorated with pavilions on islands in a lakeside setting. 18thc Qianlong C1765/75. Height 12.5 cm, Length 21.5 cm. Condition; excellent, small frit to tip of spout, no chips, cracks or restoration.

Chinese Blue and White Stemcup of small size and good colour. Decorated with flowering sprays. Kangxi C1700. Height 6.3cm. Diameter 6.1cm. Condition: a hairline crack 1.5cm from rim (image 9), no other damage.

Chinese Robins Egg glazed Globular Waterpot with a black glazed Chilong in relief on the rim. 19thC. Height 5.9cm. Condition: perfect, no cracks, chips or restoration.

Chinese Blue and White Small Dish. The centre decorated with a lady seated at a table viewing a display of flowers, the rim with precious objects. Kangxi six character mark and of the period. C1700. Diameter 10.0 cm. Condition; excellent, no damage.

Chinese Blue and White Tankard well painted with a Ming style floral scroll. Qianlong C1750/70. Height 12.8 cm. Condition; excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration.

Chinese Blue and White Octagonal Jar with unusual flared foot. Decorated with panels of birds among flowering plants. Kangxi C17/18thC. Height 9 1/2" (24.2cm). Condition; shallow chip 1.1cm to edge of foot. No cover.

Fine Japanese Arita Imari polychrome fluted bowl. Decorated in underglaze blue and maroon, yellow, red, and gold enamels with floral roundels between flowering shrubs, including plum and prunus, extending over the rim into the interior. The base with an iris. C1700. Dia. 9 1/2" (24.2cm). Condition: excellent, one small frit 0.2cm on rim.(See last image)

Set of five Japanese Arita blue and white dishes, the centres decorated with pine, plum and bamboo within a scrolling vine border. Gilt rim. The reverse with a continuous floral scroll. C1750/1780. Diameter 18.2cm. Condition: perfect, no chips, cracks or restoration. See the Shibata Collection Part 1, no.197.

Japanese Arita Blue and White Large Dish. Decorated with a deer standing in a landscape. L17thC Diameter 12.5" (31.7cm). Condition; good, some crazing to glaze especially to rear. Frit to rim.

Atractive Blue and White Quatrefoil Lobed Dish, with straight flaring sides and a flat rim. Decorated with two birds among prunus, chrysanthemum and other plants issuing from rockwork, on a terrace. All in a good blue. Qianlong, C1750/70. Max dia.8 5/8" (21.9cm). Condition; two areas of minor friting to inside corners.

Chinese Famille Rose Censer decorated with two confronting dragons pursuing a flaming pearl, above breaking waves, all on a yellow ground. 18thC. Dia. 17.5cm. Ht.10.7cm. Condition; perfect, no damage or restoration.

A carved cinnabar lacquer stembowl and cover. The splayed foot decorated with lotus scroll, the stem with a central spherical mid section carved within two borders of lappets, the body decorated with panels of scholars and attendants within mountainous landscapes. The shoulder and cover decorated with lotus scrolls, the finial in the form of a chrysanthemum blossom. The lacquer over a metal base. Chinese mid 19thC...

Blanc De Chine standing figure. Kangxi L17thC. Height 9.0" (22.8cm). Condition: tip of hair on figure's right side replaced (0.25cm), otherwise excellent. Usual firing faults. This figure is often referred to as Adam.

A Fine South African headrest in good condition .The inscription along the seat reads " KAFFER HEAD REST P.M.BURG NATAL 1904 J.W.R.de la Poer. R.Garrison .Regt". Zulu/Swazi. Length 44.5cm, Height 19cm

Blanc De Chine group of two seated men playing weiqi, watched by a standing attendant. Beneath overhanging pine branches infront of an openwork grotto. Kangxi C1690. Height 9.8cm. Condition: chips and damage to three applied flowers, hand missing from seated figure on the left.

A Japanese Imari Tokuri. Decorated in the typical palette with alternate panels of a Carp leaping a waterfall and a Dragon in clouds above a Tiger 19thC. Height: 7 3/8″ (18.7 cm). Condition: excellent, light wear to gilding

Chinese Famille Rose Export Cup and Saucer. Molded and decorated with central monogram within floral wreath. C1770. Dia. saucer 5" (12.7cm). Condition; Excellent, no cracks chips or restoration, some wear to gilding on rims.
