A pair of Chinese porcelain cylindrical vases in mirror image, painted in famille rose (fencai style) with maidens on a garden terrace with plum rose trees overhanging. The insides glazed white with a gilt border. The base rims unglazed. The bases glazed white with stamped iron red marks.. Drilled for electricity.
Also included is a pair of small Chinese saucers with similar images with a double gilt border and writing in black on the front. The base of each glazed white with stamped iron red marks. The base rims unglazed with kiln grit. On one of the saucers on the reverse are three iron red bats.
Size: The hat stands are approximately 11-1/4" high by 4-3/4" diameter. The saucers are approximately 5-1/4" diameter.
Condition: Both stands have been drilled for electricity. One of the stands has a crack extending from the top to the mid point. Picture of this has been included.
Age: Early 20th century (Late Qing to early Republic)
