Rare stoneware teadust melping vase. The broad mouth over narrow shoulders with the sides tapering to a slightly flared foot.

Glazed on the exterior, the base ring left bare as well as the interior below the neck. The base is glazed in the same teadust colour, the green toned glaze pooling around the edges.

Condition: In very good condition, no breaks or cracks

Size is approximately 16 cm high by 9-1/2 cm diameter.

A Chinese Beijing yellow glass vase, 'yuhuchunping'. This thick-walled multi-layered vase formed with a pear-shaped body is raised on a slightly flared rolled foot. The opaque glass is a bright egg-yolk yellow colour. Qianlong incised four-character mark within a single square. A well-made and heavy vase.

Chinese antique doucai porcelain cup, stand and lid. The interior of the bowl and the lid left plain. The base of the bowl and the stand contains a six character Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue surrounded by a double circle, also in underglaze blue.

Condition is very good, no breaks or cracks. Some minor wear to the enamels.

This rare jar has a wide mouth over a short neck with the ovoid body tapering to a short foot. Song dynasty, Henan wares.

These types of jars are made by using clays of two different colours. The top and bottom are then made separate and joined together horizontally.

Condition: On this jar, in a section, the top and bottom has separated along the horizontal luting line. A picture has been provided showing this separation. This is common among these wares.

Large antique square vase with flared neck. Each side depicts a different scene of birds, flowers and rocky cliffs on done in light polychrome enamels against a black ground. All set between a lappet border at the base and additional trailing flowers on the neck.

The inside is glazed. The base is unglazed with the exception of a small square in the center with a six character Kangxi mark in blue.

Age: Qing Dynasty

Size is 50-1/2 cm high by 15 cm wide/depth

A pair of Chinese famille-rose enamelled 'landscape' vases on a pink graviata ground with numerous sprigs of flowers spaced throughout. The bases with Qianlong marks (1736-95).

Size is 9-1/2" high by 4-1/2" diameter

Age: Estimated at mid 20th century.

Pair of of Chinese antique spinach green jade plaques. Each is hand carved with a scene of bamboo and another flowering plant with butterflies overhead, all within an incised circle border. Gilt highlights the incised design of both. The reverse of each has been left bare. The stands are later.

Size of each is approximately 18-1/4 cm diameter by 0.63 cm in width. The height including the stands is 29.85 cm.

Iron red and gilt olive form vase with three floral scenes surrounding the vase with the Eight Buddhist Treasures and bats completing it between a top and bottom border all on a white ground. The inside and base are glazed white. The base contains an iron red Daoguang mark.

Glazed in imitation of Jun wares, this pear shaped vase has a single bow-string band circling the shoulder area in matching with the three bow-strings repeated circling the main body. The exterior is covered with a mottled glaze of a deep crushed strawberry-red colour with subtile streaking in purple and milky blue that falls from the mushroom-colored rim. A Chinese porcelain famille-rose enamelled baluster vase done in fencai enamels with the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism among flowers between a top and base border on a white ground. The inside is glazed white, as well as the base. Unmarked.

A good classic design that will compliment any collection.

A pair of elegant small mirror image Chinese famille rose garlic mouth bottle vases each decorated with a design of bands of stylized flower shapes at the mouth over a ruyi head border. The sides of the vases painted with luscious peony blooms on which two exotic birds perch, all over rockwork and key pattern band.

On the opposite sides, multiple lines of calligraphy with three seal marks. Base holds four character Yongzheng seal mark in blue surrounded by a double border.

A square section Chinese baluster vase. Painted on two faces with scholars & their attendants beneath trees, with texts and seals on the other two faces. The inside and recessed base glazed.

Size is 16-1/4" high by 6-1/4" wide by 4-3/4" depth.

Condition is very good, no breaks or cracks.

Age: Republic

Large Fahua jar with 5 evenly spaced loops at the neck. Flowers, leaves and scrolls surround the jar coloured in light brown and yellow against a green ground. The neck ending with a rolled rim.

These types of jars are normally dated to the 15th century (Ming Dynasty). The base, as well as the inside of the jar are both left unglazed. On the base are the remnants of an old collection label.

A Chinese figure of a monkey on a rock bed. Modeled resting on one raised knee and holding a peach in his right paw. The fur delicately delineated with pale iron-red fur markings.

Approximate size is 4-1/4" wide by 8" high by 3-1/4" depth.

A Chinese blanc de chine seated figure of the god of literature Wen Ch'ang, the divinity shown with semi domed hat and with holes in the mouth and chin for horse hair moustache and beard. The god is wearing long robes that fall across his ample stomach and down to his booted feet, below this can be seen the edge of a stool.

Chinese gilt bronze seat figure of an immortal, probably Pudai holding a begging bowl in his right hand. He is wearing long flowing robes with traces of red lacquer throughout.

This statue is 13 cm high by 9 cm wide by 7 1/2 cm depth.

Dated to 18th century with possibility to the 17th century.

Condition: This piece is in very good condition. It is also a very heavy piece. Original finish.

A antique Chinese thickly potted crackle-glazed porcelain bowl in the style of 'ge' wares made in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The bowl is covered inside and out with a blue-grey glaze suffused with dark grey ('iron wire') and gold ('golden thread') crackle. The bottom of the foot shows the remains of a brown dressing that was applied.
