This pair of late Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) bowls with cover are 2 3/4 inches high (4 inches with cover) and 5 5/8 inches in diameter. Peony, chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus, iris and several unknown flowers are painted over the entire exterior and the interior rim of both bowls and covers. There are Qian Long (1736~1795) honorable marks on the bottoms of the bowls and a single peony blossom on the center of the covers. The workmanship is elegant...

This late 19th century Chinese jade (nephrite) carving of a reclining camel and foreign grooms is 2 ¾” high, 4 ¼” long and 2” thick. It depicts a reclining camel turning its head to the three grooms; one is climbing on the camel’s hump while the other two are leaning on its side. It is in great condition.

These rare early 19th century ceramic bowls are 2 ½” high and 6” in diameter. They depict four mythical sea creatures resting on rocks surrounded by ocean waves. The background and inside are turquoise blue. There are red “Dao Guang” (1821~1850) marks on the bottoms. Some gold edging has rubbed off from the ribbed rims. Aside from this, they are in excellent condition.

This set of four Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) dishes are 1 ¾ inches tall and 5 ¾ inches in diameter. Hundreds of different kinds of flowers cover them all. The workmanship is superb and precise. The gold trim on the rims has slightly rubbed off. They are in great condition.

This rectangular grayish jade (nephrite) plaque is 1 ¾” long, 2 3/4” wide and 3/16” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It is carved as a dragon in the center, two flower blossoms and two leaves are on the four corners and a curly pattern swirls around the dragon. Though it is a thin piece, it was carved very skillfully and carefully into a two layered object. Aside from a tiny chip on one side, it is in great condition.

This nicely executed silver alloy tea pot is a late-19th century product. It is 8” high (9 ½” high with handle extended) and 9” wide at the spout. The body is 6 ¼” wide. The famous 8 immortals and their symbols appear over the entire hexagonal body and cover. The spout is the shape of a mythical animal, PiXie. The knob on the cover of the teapot is a seated PiXie. There is an honorable mark “Great Qing Qian Long” stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This late 19th century Chinese carved bamboo arm rest is 6 ¾ inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. It depicts an autumn scene; three frogs resting behind lotus leaf and dry lotus pod. The poem on the top translate as: “When crabs are growing to maturity and yellow mums are withering away, I am drinking wine beneath a blue autumn sky.” The workmanship of the picture and calligraphy are just elegant. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.

There are houses, temples and pagodas surrounded by a river, a forest of pine trees and mountains. There is an old repair on a pine tree, some small losses and several hairline cracks on the top of the tusk. Considering its age, it is in great condition.

This Qing Dynasty Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Famille Rose seal box is 2” high and 3” in diameter. It depicts two young boys riding on Qi Ling (or Ki Ren, a legendary animal, usually related with young male), another is pushing a cart, carrying a symbolic officer’s hat. There are small floral designs on the rim. Aside from one old chip inside the box and a couple of small chips on the bottom, it is in fairly good condition.
