Yuan Dynasty 14th century Dehua ware covered box. Porcellanous stoneware with honey - coloured glaze over a extremely nice moulded floral decoration. Diameter : 7,2 cm. Condition : Some very faint age - cracks to the glaze but not in the body. One single minute chip at the underside of the box, which not interfers the extremely nice appearance of this rare piece.

The present miniature portrait of a Chinese lady in a blue robe ( Gouache, c. 1850 ) is striking for the manner in which a typical Chinese beauty has been represented. While few female subjects in the Chinese painting repertoire of the Qing dynasty can be found, the present piece belongs to a small group of paintings , all painted in the style of Giuseppe Castiglione: A Jesuit Painter at the Court of the Chinese Emperors...

This marked, rare, fish decorated bowl comes from an old German colletion. The condition of the glaze of the bowl is so perfect and glossy that it simply is impossible that this bowl is an excavated piece. The glaze of this bowl is so much better than the glaze of excavated pieces so that this bowl must be an rare unearthed piece which already in very early times - maybe hundreds of years ago - came to Europe. Finely worked in satin stich in highest Imperial quality, in different colours with five bats and sound stones . These stand for the five blessings : old age, wealth, health, goodness and natural death. This work of the Imperial Qianlong workshops is most probably a part of an Imperial Qianlong throne cushion cover, later bordered with modern high-quality adornments. Qianlong Period ( 1736 – 1795 ) . The gold adornments 19th/20th century. 37 x 46 cm. Condition : Very good.

A small and absolutely lovely Kangxi period ( 1662 - 1722 ) aster dish. Superb porcelain body, superb Cobalt blue, this rare dish is an absolute jewel. Diameter : 10,8 cm. Condition : Perfect with no crack or chip ( nice sound when tapped ). Extremely minute glaze fritting to the rim which in nearly invisible to the naked eye.

A perfectly potted Daoguang famille rose dish, finely painted with a harbor scene depicting the Teng Wang Ge, a pavilion noted for its famous view located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province, on the banks of the Gan River 60 km south of the Yangtze River. The pavilion built in 653 AD by Li Yuanying was made famous in the poem "Teng Wang Ge Xu" written by the renowned poet of the Tang era, Wang Wei (701-763), also in a Preface to Teng Wang Pavilion by the artist Wang Buo...

A well potted bowl in Chrysanthemum shape and glazed with a pale Qingbai glaze. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) Diameter : 11,9 cm. H : 4,5 cm. Condition : Very nice condition with one nearly invisible hairline that actually seems to be quite insignificant because despite this hairline the bowl has a nice ping tone when tapped. Perfectly potted porcelain body, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with the very rare motif of ruyi - shaped panels containing lotus sprays divided by pendent tassels encircling the body. Jingdezhen ware, mid to late 15th. century. Diameter : 15 cm. H : 6,7 cm. Condition : Perfect. This bowl is unique and exceptional in the sensivity of its painting which to some extent echoes the decoration of the very rare and highly admired Kangxi Imperial Mark and Period "Birds-Bowls". Underglaze blue six character Kangxi Mark, but 19th. century. One of the most beautiful "Kangxi-revival" bowls ever seen. A quite large bowl, thinly potted and brightly enameled. ( Famille -Verte ). A very rare and decorative Oil-spot, black-glazed, Song style vase ( Spittoon ) from the Zibo kilns in Shandong ( from around the eighteenth century ). The very rare and highly admired Song Dynasty Jian ware Temmoku- resp. oil-spot glazed pieces were the model for this vase. H : 10,4 cm. Diameter : 10,3 cm. Condition : Perfect with just some very minute glaze-fritting to the rim ( please look at the fifth enlargement ).
