This is a small and beautiful qingpai ewer of very mild greenish hue. It stands on a short recessed base and then everted upward to a bulbous body, with a sligltly sloping shoulder and the a short slanted neck towards a bowl like mouth rim. Under the sunlight, the ewer has a mild greenish appeareance. Under normal sun light, the ewer has a mild greenish hue but under normal room light, it appears to have a greyish hue. It is a bit trying to get the actuakl colour of this piece...

This is a yellow mat glazed brush pot from the renown Chinese potter Wang Bingrong. The brush pot is potted in high relief depicting a scene of a pair of birds perching on the willow tree on a breezy day and with another bird flying towards it. Behind it is a lovely poem describing the lively scenary. Circa late 19th / early 20th century

The brush pot is in good condition...

A simple black glazed ribbed vase with foliated rim. It stand on a two tier splay high foot, then everted towards a bulb like body towards a straight neck and then slightly everted towards a foliated mouth rim.

No damage, repair or restoration. There are abrasion, minor chips, pin holes, bubble burst and minute shrinkage of the glaze. All this are shown in the picture 3...

This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. It depicts a beautiful summer scence with a pair of pairs, one perching on a tree and the other flying towards it. There is also some bamboo trees, gourd plants and lindzhi to the right of the taihu rock. The scence also depicts a beautiful red poeny flower to the right. To the left and right it depicts a red and yellow crab apple trees in full bloom...

A nice piece of Ming dynasty funerary sancai glazed groom and horse. The horse is in light brown glazed while the groom wears a black cap, with a moustache and wearing a light green overcoat with white collar. The horse has a green glazed harness,tussles and saddle cloth. The saddle is brown in colour.

There is only a chip to the horse ear as shown in picture no.4 by the circle. The chip on the horse ear can be easily repaired by an expert restorer...

A beautiful and handsome Han dynasty pottery horse head. Very animated expression and in very good state of preservation.
It is rare to find a Han dynasty horse head of such size.

This is a medium size bamboo brush pot with a mountain scenery. It is very well carved with many fine details. It even has the name of the mountain with scrolling heavenly clouds at the top and then with the pine and bamboo tress set behind a mountainous background. A very nice blue and white cylindrical vase depicting the Hundred Antiques objects. The drawing is a general collection of emblematic form with representation of the eight treasures, vessels, flowers and some decorative designs. Late Qing dynasty cir late 19th century to early 20th century. The actual vases looks much nicer and glossy than the pictures.

This is a small and square jarlet from the Yuan dynasty (1277-1367). It stands on a flat base and rise straight up to a flat shoulder and then towards a small vertical square mouth rim. There are two small lugs on the opposite side of the shoulder. On all four side of the jarlet, there is a drawing of a single chrysanthemum flower in copper red colour. This is a famille jaune glaze bowl used for auspious events such as birthday and joyous occassions that calls for celeberation. In the center of the bowl, it has five wufu or bats surrounding the character longevity, all in copper red colour. It has a six character seal mark dated to Guangxu reign. This bowl is possibly dated to the early 20th century and of the period.

This is a nice pair of tomb guardian, one piece in the form of a warrior and the other a mythical beast. The pair of tomb guardian is made of white earthen ware with copper green glaze. The green glazed is also nearer to the celadon glazed type. The clay, glaze and style suggest that the pair of tomb guardian suggest that this pair of tomb guardian straddles between the late Sui dynasty to the early Tang dynasty or about 7 century.

Description:
This is a Ming dynasty small ribbed longquan dish. It stands on a shallow recessed footrim showing the orngish burn ungaled recess. From the foot rim, it everted stright upward with a ribbed outer body. In the center of the dish, there is a faint outline of an impressed single stalk of lotus flower.

Condition:
Fine condition. No chip, crack, restoration or repair. Sold as is.

This is a Yuan Dynasty(1277-1367) celadon covered box. The top cover has a double circle with radiating club shaped like a sun ray all round. Just below it, is the design of foliage circling the all round. The flower part of the covered box also has foliage design design followed by a club shaped motif. The colour of the top half is lighter than the lower half of the covered box.
