A marble head of the ancient Phrygian god of vegetation and consort of the great Mother of the Gods, Cybele. Wearing the Phrygian cap, with bulging eyes and with prominent facial details. 3 1/4 inches high. 1st-2nd Century AD. Formerly in a Tucson, Arizona old private collection.

An ancient Egyptian bronze figure of Nefertum. Depicted striding on his integral base, wearing a tripartite wig, fronted with ureas, with his left foot forward, with arms along his side, wearing the lotus crown and with suspension loop behind. 3 1/4 inches high. A large ancient Greek pair statue. Appears to represent the nude Adonis, his right leg slightly bent on the knee, standing on a raised pedestal, gazing down on an enamoring Aphrodite, with hair pulled back into a bun, her right arm bent at the elbow, and her left hand, grasping her long, flowing drapery. With some wear to facial details and with extensive remains of encrustations. @ 3rd Century B.C. Intact as shown. 11 inches high...

An ancient Roman marble hand, with defined fingers and fingernails. Hand grasping, what appears to be remains of a dagger. With extensive remains of encrustations. 1st-3rd century AD. From a NYC private collection. Said to be purchased on the London art market in the late 1990s. 3 1/2 inches wide X 4 1/4 inches high. Mounted.

Colorful fragment from a sarcophagus. Depicting and facing left, Osiris and two of the four sons of Horus - the falcon headed god - Qebehsenuef and the jackal headed god, Duamutef. All wearing elaborate, cross-hatched, net-design garments. Hieroglyphic inscription and remains of feather design underneath. A very close parallel at the Brooklyn Museum, appears to date this cartonnage to probably the end of the 25th Dynasty, 712-664 B.C. 10 3/4 inches high X 6 1/4 inches wide. All original pigment...

Possibly a provincial depiction of Harpocrates, depicted nude, wearing the Nemes headdress, fronted ureas, wearing the sidelock, seated, with arms stretched along each side and wearing a highly unusual crown. 4 3/8 inches high. With base of feet inserted into the modern base with an old collection label and inscription on the underside of the base. Appears to possibly be written in French...

In the form of the face of a lion depicted in high relief, holding a ring in the gaping jaws, with protruding tongue, incised whiskers and fur, and radiating mane. Mounted. Pre-Dynastic, Naqada II (3600-3200 BC), indurated limestone hippo, depicted in abstract form. 3 1/4 inches wide. Mounted. Said to be Ex, D.A, private Brussels collection, 1980.

A bronze Atef crown's feather. Ram's horn on bottom upon which a rearing ureas cobra is perched, with gaps probably originally containing inlays, crowned with the solar disc; the cobra flanks a large, curling ostrich plume with multiple horizontal incised lines. Height: 3-1/2" , not including base. Late Dynastic Period, ca 700 to 330 B.C.
