A walking cane or parasol handle made of silver with fine repousse and chased decoration of three ascetics and Lord Krishna playing the flute amidst cottages and trees. With a dated and inscribed cartouche in shield form, top with monogram, unmarked. Condition: one dent, short split, top slightly dented. Dimension: length: 24.3 cm.

An antique silver seal chop made in China for the export. The handle decorated with a coiling dragon, the seal matrix with a "W" in intaglio. Silver tested, unmarked. Condition: fine, some traces of usage. Dimension: 6.7 cm high, weight: 32 g.

Small Indian bronze, cast in one piece depicting Vishnu standing on a Lotus base. The four-armed Hindu god is holding the conch and the chakra. Karnataka / Maharashtra. Condition: fine, few traces of usage, patina. Dimension: 17.8 cm high.

A hand-colored black and white photograph with a monk standing next to the stupa in the "Xianshan Gongyuan" near Beijing. Dimension: 26 cm x 16.2 cm. Condition: margin with six pin holes, natural age toning.

Two different pipes, the bowls made of Tophane clay embellished with gilding or gilded metal rim. The stems ar made of wood ending in a horn mouthpiece. One with mark. Condition: one bowl was broken in two and the other one with two chips. Dimension: total length: 35 cm and 16 cm.

A pot made of copper with gilding inlaid with silver and copper, decorated with interlacing patterns, tendrils and Islamic calligraphy inscriptions in cartouches. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension diameter: c. 19 cm, height: 15.8 cm, weight: 918 g.

Not complete. A very rare document on Chinese porcelain in French, published by A. Morel in 1881, first edition. Reference book with 227 pages and 30 heliogravures and chromolithographs and more than 120 illustrations in the text. Large quarto pages loose in portfolio, pages uncut. Condition: not complete, the Nos. XXXI and XXXII of the heliogravures and chromolithographs are missing, so are the text pages 113 to 120. Some foxing on pages. Dimension: c. 38 cm x 29 cm.

A pair brass vases with handles, engraved with slightly different decoration of interlacing patterns, arabesques and Islamic calligraphy, one with fishes. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension height: 21.1 cm, weight: 1'180 g.

A round, convex shield with four central bosses. Decorated with raised design of tendrils, embellished with black and red enamel, and some tin plated areas. Reverse with four attaching bronze rings and a velvet pad. Compare with a similar shield in the Royal Ontario museum. Condition: few losses to enamel and wear to tinned areas, reverse with some residue of solder. Dimension: diameter: 28 cm.

An impressive spouted vessel, made of bronze, adorned with elaborate relief of animals like frogs, fishes, crabs and Chinese influenced creatures like dragons and Buddhist lions. The movable handle with a crocodile. These kettle were used during festive or ritual occasions. The base fabric is a coarse weave (maybe linen) with a decorative weft. Both ends with two-faced embroidery in gold-wrapped thread in Turkish baroque style. Condition: fine, only little patina. Dimension without fringes: 113 cm x 49 cm.
