Two interesting brown velvet panel fragments with botehs and flowers in silk embroidery and embellished with gilt and silvered sequins. Origin could also be Central Asia. From Georges Redard's study collection (please visit http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/redard-georges), mainly comprising Persian textiles. Condition: clean, few splits and small holes, some sequins lost. Please look at photos carefully, being part of condition report. Dimension: each c. 19 cm x 79 cm.

Two large unmounted vintage photographs dating from around 1910 in Burma (British India), taken by a Burmese photographer (one with superimposed inscription: Ma Tok Mandalay). Showing young lavishly costumed dancers on an outdoor stage, one taking with two elephants. Condition: one print with two small tears, both little creased. Dimension: 21.2 cm x 28.7 cm.

Two unmounted vintage albumen photographs dating from the 1880's. One depicting a mansion probably in Mandalay, the second showing a group of young Burmese monks returning to their monastery after begging their daily food, by the Italian photographer Felice Beato (1832-1909). Condition: faded and wavy, one with a small stain. Dimension: 19.6 cm x 26.4 cm, 19.9 cm x 25.9 cm.

Two silver teapots, both with strainer and hinged cover on pouring spout. Beautifully made with floral decoration, the knobs in bud-shape. Both marked "ZR800". Provenance: Swiss-Dutch family living in Indonesia in the first half of the 20th C. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: large teapot: c. 22.3 cm high, 17.8 cm wide, weight: 607 g, small one: c. 15.4 cm x 12.4 cm, weight: 417 g. Total weight: 1.024 kg.

A pair of silk applique roundels for a robe, lavishly embroidered in satin stitch, tiny Peking knot and couched gold wrapped thread. One showing two boys at play, the other one depicting the immortal He Xiangu with attendant in a boat amidst flowers and auspicious symbols. Condition: slightly stained, the one with the boys has traces of former humidity, especially from behind. Dimension: 23.5 cm diameter.

Two double pages printed in woodblock technique on thin paper. The first depicting a blue bird on a lychee plant from the "Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting", Jieziyuan huazhuan, published in 1679 by Wang Gai. The second showing a bird on a fruiting branch, from the "Ten Bamboo Studio Manual of Calligraphy and Painting", Shizhuzai shuhua pu, published by Hu Zhengyan in the early 17th century. Two Tibetan stem platters for ritual offerings, made from hardwood with metal sheet. The center decorated with a wheel, one of the eight Buddhist Symbols. Torma are cone shaped ritual food offerings sculpted in a variety of shapes and sizes, mostly made of flour and butter. Condition: traces of usage, one piece with an old repair (was broken in two). Dimension: diameter: c. 19 cm, height: 6 cm and 7.3 cm, weight: 1200 g.

An oval brass seal and a square carnelian or glass seal, each with silver mount. The faces engraved with Arabic inscriptions, one dated. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: 1.6 cm long, 1.9 cm and 2.9 cm high (with loop).

Two different pipes, the bowls made of Tophane clay embellished with gilding or gilded metal rim. The stems ar made of wood ending in a horn mouthpiece. One with mark. Condition: one bowl was broken in two and the other one with two chips. Dimension: total length: 35 cm and 16 cm.

One made of silver alloy in the "bira-bira" style, showing a blossom with tiny coral beads forming the center and attached butterflies. The second one is a "tama" kanzashi with pierced mixed metal ball showing floral decoration. Both ending in a mimikaki (ear spoon). Condition: the first one with missing butterflies. The second one with minimally bent prongs and little wear. Dimension: 17 cm and 16 cm long.

Two early vintage albumen prints, one showing a Japanese river landscape, the second one with a group of Western and Japanese men in a garden. Mounted on coeval cardboard. Condition: fine, minimally faded, the photo with the landscape with a tiny hole, the cardboard with two lost corners. Dimension: photo: c. 20.1 cm x 26.1 cm, cardboard: 34.8 cm x 43.8 cm.

Jewelry for the headdress of a Turkmen unmarried woman, made of silver and set with red glass cabochons. These domed finals were fixed on the girl's cap called "Tjubetejka", according to Schletzer decorated with a bird's feather meant the young woman was affianced. From an old Swiss collection. Cf. An original Japanese color woodblock print by the artist Utagawa Toyokuni I (1769-1825), in vertical oban size. Depicting two women with a boy drying and beating Cloth on the river banks. Signed "Toyokuni ga", censor "kiwame". Condition: good color and impression, some small wormholes, backed, creased and soiled, laid down at upper corners. Dimension: 36.1 cm x 24.6 cm.

Three antique hexagonal Chinese silver cups decorated with figures, bamboo and plum twigs. Base marked "KC" and Chinese characters (according to Adrien von Ferscht: a silversmith active 1825-1900 in Canton). Two with original glass inserts. Dimension: c. 4.3 cm wide x 3.5 cm high, weight silver: 74 g. Condition: one glass insert lost, the other ones with small rim chips.
