A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". A similar pair in the Bata Shoe Museum Collection in Toronto. Dimension: c. 22 cm long, 8.8 cm wide, total height: 8.4 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a short section with missing wire (see picture no. 2).

The exterior chiselled and engraved, the neck with a band of nasta'liq inscription and the body with lattice containing flowerheads. Quatrefoil with owner's or maker's name. Condition: traces of usage, rubbing to tinning. Dimension: diameter: 28.5 cm, 15 cm high.

An Iranian tinned copper plate, of saucer form. Chased decoration of calligraphic cartouches. Base with maker's mark. Condition: some traces of usage, rubbing to tinning, slightly warped. Dimension: diameter 26 cm, 4.2 cm high.

A repoussed Persian copper bowl of squatted round form. The etched and engraved decoration comprising calligraphy cartouches, a band with split palmettes and flower heads and figures at leisure. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: diameter: 13.5 cm, 7.4 cm high.

Finely potted porcelain dish with milky white glaze, the broad border moulded with ruyi heads. The center with fine depiction of a kirin, painted in green enamel, iron red and some gold. Please refer to: "Kakiemon Porcelain - A Handbook" by Menno Fitski, No. 126. Condition: little wear to painted area, base with a star crack, rim with a short hairline and a firing default. Dimension: diameter: 14.8 cm, 3.1 cm high.

A brass magic bowl of deep rounded form with everted rim and raised omphalos. Incised allover with talismanic inscriptions, the exterior with the twelve Zodiac signs in cartouches. Dated AH 1209 / AD 1794 (see picture no. 8). Condition: everted rim with a small loss, some patina. Dimension: diameter: 16.1 cm, 4.5 cm high.

A rectangular one-piece silver belt buckle, the front side decorated with birds and tendrils in niello and with gilt center. Dated with Arabic numerals corresponding to 1868. Brass brackets. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: 7.1 cm long x 5 cm wide.

A fine bronze standard finial of the "Master of Animals" type, worked on both sides identically. A tube in anthropomorphic form showing a human with a long nose and jutting ears, grasping the necks of two animals. The center of the figure with a human mask and two protruding cock's heads. Western Iran, Luristan culture, c. 9th-7th century B.C. Provenance: Private Collection, Switzerland. Condition: fine, only slightly bent. With nice patina. Dimension: height: 18.2 cm.

A tube in anthropomorphic form, worked on both sides identically, showing a human with a long nose and jutting ears, grasping the necks of two animals. Western Iran, Luristan culture, c. 9th-7th century B.C. Provenance: Private Collection, Switzerland. Condition: fine, with nice patina. Dimension: height: 15.2 cm.

A Thai cast bronze figure of the crowned Buddha Shakyamuni, with serene facial features, holding his hands in dhyana mudra. Condition: no base, later added core material. Dimension: 16.4 cm high x 9.6 cm wide x 4.1 cm deep.

Oval portrait of a young Indian woman, painted on paper in watercolor with white highlights. With velvet covered passe-partout and mounted behind glass in a later European frame. Signed "S.B. A wooden spoon for sherbet, soup or rice made in two parts. Carved from light wood, the handle with inscriptions in ink under a varnish. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: 27.6 cm long.

Composed of different cotton fabrics, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. The basic fabrics are geometrically worked tapestry weaves, crocheted together. All sides with fringes, backed with a plain weaves. Condition: traces of usage, few thin areas, lining little stained. Dimension with fringes: 113 cm x 55 cm.

A rectangular and exceptionally designed top horse saddle rug or seating mat made of wool in knotted pile. Centrally two flying birds, between them quite invisible Chinese characters, bordered by swastika pattern. Lined and edged with different blue fabrics. Condition: faded, few small areas with missing pile (moth damage). Dimension total: 77.5 cm x 62.5 cm.
