A round tray cover made of glazed cotton lavishly block-printed and dyed, produced in Isfahan in the 19th century. Two double pages printed in woodblock technique on thin paper. The first depicting a blue bird on a lychee plant from the "Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting", Jieziyuan huazhuan, published in 1679 by Wang Gai. The second showing a bird on a fruiting branch, from the "Ten Bamboo Studio Manual of Calligraphy and Painting", Shizhuzai shuhua pu, published by Hu Zhengyan in the early 17th century. A rare Japanese okimono depicting the seated bodhisattva of compassion with serene facial expression. Made of bright bronze alloy, maybe shibuichi, and fine inlays in silver, gold and enamel. The base with signature. Condition: no damage, few traces of wear. Dimension: 11.1 cm high, weight: 572 g.

A Chinese silver shield-shaped presentation plaque engraved with good wishes, mounted to conforming hardwood shield carved at crest with stylized flower and with easel support on the back. Jewelry for the headdress of a Turkmen unmarried woman, made of silver and set with red glass cabochons. These domed finals were fixed on the girl's cap called "Tjubetejka", according to Schletzer decorated with a bird's feather meant the young woman was affianced. From an old Swiss collection. Cf. A beautiful pair of genuine arm cuff bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Tekke tribe. They are made of silver with gilding and set with carnelian cut with flat top. A large silver tray of oval form with applied scrolling handles. The sloping sides of the salver with repousse decoration in the Turkish baroque style. Tughra and two other marks to either end of the tray, each handle with two hallmarks. Condition: traces of usage, the sides with two short cracks, one old repair with crack near the attachment of one handle (pic. 9). Dimension total: 41.5 cm long x 26.7 cm wide, weight: 760 g.

A fine applique panel mounted on gold foil, embroidered in tiny Peking knot and gold thread. Showing a big cat in a landscape, in an old European frame with antique finish. Condition: little faded. Dimension total: 27 cm x 19.5 cm.
