A Nepalese dagger used in Shamanic and Buddhist rituals, carved from wood with a glossy patina. The handle section in the shape of a vajra with endless knots and three faces, the blade trigonal. Condition: traces of usage. Dimension: 21.1 cm long.

A rare writing box made of papier-maché with polychrome and gold decoration under a lacquer varnish showing different Hindu gods as Hanuman, Krishna etc. Condition: traces of usage, wear, lacquer and further small losses, some cracking. Dimension: c. 28.5 x 9.5 x 7.7 cm.

A kneeling fish seller beholding his coop with huge fishes. The earthenware figure painted in polychrome colors, the skin areas in matt glaze orange. Condition: Good. Dimensions: 10,7 cm high x 9,5 cm wide. Weight: 302 gram.

Small Indian bronze, cast in one piece depicting Vishnu standing on a Lotus base. The four-armed Hindu god is holding the conch and the chakra. Karnataka / Maharashtra. Condition: fine, few traces of usage, patina. Dimension: 17.8 cm high.

Composite panel of antique Ottoman embroideries, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. Made in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and silver wrapped threads, crocheted together. Two patches with a kind of floral needle weaving. Bordered with a green ribbon and later lining. Condition: stained and flawed areas, missing threads, faded. Dimension: 159.5 cm x 98 cm.

Burgundy red velvet ground with the design of a mosque with minarets below a tughra. Padded embroidery in couched metal thread. Condition: doubtless a fragment, the basic fabric sewn together, the metal threads with patina and some missing and loose ones. Dimension: 35 cm x 33 cm.

Composite panel of antique embroideries from the Ottoman Empire, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and metal wrapped threads, composed and sewn together in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. A beautiful pair of genuine arm cuff bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Tekke tribe. They are made of silver with gilding and set with carnelian cut with flat top. A brass magic bowl of deep rounded form with everted rim and raised omphalos. Incised allover with talismanic inscriptions, the exterior with the twelve Zodiac signs in cartouches.
