A vibrant Chinese cloisonné round covered box with lotus flowers and scrolling tendrils on a black ground. with fish scale pattern. With no condition issues, this lovely box measures 2.5” high by 3.5” in diameter. Marked CHINA on bottom, we date this circa 1900.

A very nice Chinese hardwood lid for a jar. Wood unknown, but is the color of a dark rosewood. In excellent condition, the lid measures 3.25" diameter by 2.25" including finial. Fits an opening 1 5/8th inches or larger".

We have a matching 2 inch high stand with the inner diameter being 3 inches for $35.

Japanese scholar's bronze water dropper in teapot form decorated with shishi dogs. In excellent condition with a wonderful warm patina that is sure to please, it measures 1.75" in diameter (2.25" across including spout) x 1.5" high (2" high with handle up).
Note: there is paper residue on the bottom from an old tag or label.

A well rendered blue and white Chinese porcelain dish with 4 figures. In very good condition, surface showing no wear, there are few minor frits around the edge and a chip on the inside bottom foot rim, nothing of any consequence. Dating Republic period, it measures 5.5" (14 cm) diameter and 1.5" (3.8 cm) deep.

A beautiful sapphire blue Qianlong period (1736-1795) small wasted and broad shouldered jar. The cobalt blue mimics the old heap and pile effect of the earlier Ming dynasty. The glaze has a silkly smooth texture typical of early 18th C. porcelains. The white patch at the neck area is a clay slip that was partially glazed and was not scored because of a slight depression in the affected area. A large and magnificent pair of Chinese fu lions ready to guard your home and protect you from evil spirits. The hand-carved foo dogs are solid wood and sit on platforms or separate bases that not solid. Early 20th century Chinese hand made moss green pottery storage jar featuring an unusual cut out in the lid for easy lifting. The jar interior is glazed dark brown with the rim having a clear glaze. The green glaze is thick and rich. The lid has 3 small chips on the exterior unglazed part of the rim that can be studied in the photos, otherwise in excellent condition. This is a very special jar measuring 6 inches, 7 inches diameter.

A lovely Chinese hat stand featuring a pair of birds and painted in the Qianjiang style using soft pastel enamels. Qianjiang enamel paintings are getting harder to find and this one is in excellent original condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. It measures 11 inches high x 4.75" diameter.

Two very rare and large Canton enamel vases on the original wooden stands with lovely rich patina and bright well painted scenes of the Chinese goddess Chang'e. The features of this album are nothing less than remarkable, hand made paper with the paintings hand painted on very fine silk. Large green glazed Shiwan pottery teapot in the shape of a water bucket with a pour spout, small lid, and carrying handle. In very good condition save for a tiny flea bite on the spout, it measures about 10.5” high (to top of handle) x 9" diameter (10” across including spout). Dates circa 1885.

A very unique architectural element showing a warrior on a mythical beast. These were used as adornments to beautify the home as well as to tell a story. This well carved piece of Chinese history dates to the late 19th century and is considered in excellent unrestored condition. The painting of various colors adds luster to this hard to find antique.
