The Bodhisattva Guanyin, executed in fragrant camphor wood. Made in two parts.
H. 32 cm. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Remains of lacquer and gilding.
Seated on a lotus throne, guarded by two attendants. On the back of the stand there is an inscription : This is a statue (or carving) or Kwanyin, for Mr. Wang (??)'s wife, Mrs. Chao (??).
2nd day, 4th month Daoguang 10th year (1830 A.D.).
Condition: usual age wear, loss of gilding, the ribbon from the crown at the right side is missing. H. 23 cm.
Wonderful early sculpture, depicting a Chinese saint or deity. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 35 cm. Condition: expected age wear.

A wonderful marble sculpture of a Bodhisatva.
Excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province, China. Comes with a custom made stand. Tang Dynasty (618-906). H. 20 cm (22 cm incl. stand).
Wooden figure representing a deity in military attire. China, Late Ming, ca. 16th/17th century. H. 39 cm. Condition: expected age wear and old traces of wood worm. ( treated)
Lovely small wooden house altar with fine carving and its original gilding and the original cover (most of the time the covers are missing). 19th century. Dimensions: 35x30x14 cm. Condition: a crack in the cover, some wear to the lacquer and gilding.
A very rare pair of wooden tomb figures with original painting. China, Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD). Condition: one head broken, appropriate age wear. H. 27 and 25 cm excluding the stands.
