Bronze Buddha covered with black lacquer and gilded. Thailand, late Ayutthaya to early Ratanakosin, ca. 1800. H. 29 cm. very good condition, only a piece of lacquer missing at the front.

Finely cast, with a nice facial expression, the eyes downward, hands in Bhumisparsa Mudra ( calling the earth to witness). Excellent green patina. A very rare bronze set of Buddha and two disciples. Thailand, Early Rattanakosin, early 19th century. Dimensions: Buddha 32 cm excl. parasol, 50cm incl. parasol. The disciples 14 cm high. Condition: excellent, expected age wear to the gilding, original parasol and hand mirror.

An interesting bronze mirror with its original lead handle. This is rare as most of the time the lead handles have been replaced because the original has disintegrated. Diameter 14 cm, Length 21 cm. Mounted on a museum quality stand.

A very fine example of Burmese lacquer ware, dating from the Mandalay period, ca. late 19th/early 20th century. Apart from sone minor chips to the lacquer and normal age wear, this offering bowl is in excellent condition. H. 58 cm. Diameter 31 cm.
