A very rare white porcelain Song qingpai ewer with a clear pale bluish glaze. The body and shoulder of the vase have skillfully executed free-flowing scraffiato designs of florals and leaves. The tall cylindrical neck is encircled at the base by two horned dragons whose heads meet at the spout. The grooved loop handle is further decorated with eight small balls. The glaze pools in some areas creating a beautiful light watery blue...

A very rare sancai original, three color, glazed Tang duck cup probably used for drinking rice wine. Three colors with some blue cobalt. A beautiful rare etched paitong basin depicting court ladies playing chess in the center. Around the inside of the basin there are scenes of scholars, artists, falconer etc. Around the inside edge is etched the "shou" characters representing good luck and fortune. Size: Diameter: 42.5cm. Condition: No repairs. A small casting crack on the inside that does not go all the way through.

A very rare bronze seal from the First Emperor period with the "ying-yang" impression. Yin is often symbolized by water or earth, while yang is symbolized by fire or wind. Age: 221 -206 BC. Size:L. 1.9cm W. 1cm. H. 1.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Incrustation from long burial. Can be cleaned.

An unusual and rare three legged mythical beast. This is probably the prelude to the three legged frog that lives on the moon. Age: Han Dynasty 206 BC to 220 AD Size: L. 15.5cm. W. 10.5cm Condition: Some chips on the glaze fulled in and a small tip of the crown broken. See last photo.

A very rare multi color glass Chinese Han pendant with two holes for attaching to a garment or wearing as a pendant.. It comes with an additional Han glass bead for wearing as a pendant. Condition: Very good. No chips or cracks. Size: 4cm X 3cm. Age: Han Dynasty 206 BC - 220 Ad.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. A very large museum quality blue cobalt Jar. It is very, very rare to find this type of vase in cobalt blue, especially in this size and condition. The center of the vase has a relief of a dragon chasing the elusive flaming pearl. Size: H. 92.8cm. W. 46cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs or missing parts. One side has some calcification from being buried for a long time. It show up more in the photo than it actually is.

A very rare large four scene Ming jar (1368 - 1644 AD) with three panels depicting the three friends and an additional panel of a small animal, the moon and a mountain scene. Size: H. 56cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the glaze around the rim. "For his residence, earth was piled to form a hill and a hundred plum trees, which along with lofty pines and tall bamboo comprise the friends of winter, were planted."
