This is the most desirable of all the Han dogs. Not only has it been beautiful executed but has one of the nicest faces I have ever seen on a Han dog,it looks great from every angle. Size: H.26.5cm. W. 23.3cm. Condition: Tip of left ear has been professionally repaired. Some minor chips around the base. Overall in very good condition.

A rare authentic detailed Han granary with three bear like legs in a rich deep green glaze. Size: H. 30 cm. Roof diameter 23 cm. Condition: No repairs. Some small kiln chips.

A very large authentic Tang tomb guardian wearing a typical warrior's uniform standing on an evil earth creature with remains of the original pigments. The guardian was there to protect the tomb from these evil creatures. The item was found with its parts separated.Large statues like this were made in several parts. See last photo. Age: Tang Dynasty 618 - 907 AD. Size: H.86cm. W.38cm Condition: Very good for its age.

An extremely rare matching set of a drum table and five matching stools made of Jichi wood or "Chicken Wing Wood" with a very large one piece burl wood top on the table and stools with a bamboo design. Bamboo carved furniture from very expensive wood is very rare as bamboo is a very inexpensive wood and to carve that bamboo design in the expensive wood is a sign of reverse snobbery reserved for the very rich at that time...

A rare Chinese large jar.These jars were originally used for storage of food for trading ships. They were eventually traded to the natives in Southeast Asia, mainly Borneo, and were highly prized. The center of the vase has a relief of two dragon with white claws. Size: H. 70 cm. W.46 cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs.

A very large jade disc carved with a hole in the center. Both sides of this central hole are lipped which is very rare in "bi's." Compared with flat bi's, lipped bi's require a lot more carving and are much more difficult to make. The bi is beautiful with its complex colors and patterns. The colors range from cream to greys, ochres, greens and blues.Period: Neolithic ( 3rd millennium B.C.)

Rare Complete set of a Chinese Tang Sancai plate with seven matching cups. It is very rare to find a complete matching set like this. Size:Diameter: 25 cm. or 9.84 inches. Condition: Very good. Minor professional repair on the rim. Hard to locate it.

A nice rare scalloped Liao plate, boldly incised with blossoms and leaves, under a cream and bright leaf green and amber glaze. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size: Diameter. 13.5cm. Condition: A broken piece at the rim that was glued back on probably at the site. It is almost invisible on the front of the plate. See photos.

A unusual Chinese Song Dynasty bronze mirror with three mythical animals. Could be Lions or rats. The lion represents the "Guardian" and the rat represents "Prosperity". Size: Diameter 10.4cm. Condition: No repairs.

A very large museum quality blue cobalt Jar. It is very, very rare to find this type of vase in cobalt blue, especially in this size and condition. The center of the vase has a relief of a dragon chasing the elusive flaming pearl. Size: H. 92.8cm. W. 46cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs or missing parts. One side has some calcification from being buried for a long time. It show up more in the photo than it actually is.

A pair of nicely formed hollow glazed pottery birds. Both have round plump figures and lots of character. The darker bird has two glazes - a brown splash of glaze that runs over a straw glaze. The lighter bird has a celadon colored glaze. The glaze on both birds have a very fine crackle.

Period: Tang (7th-10th Century)

Size: Both birds approximately 4.7 cm high.

A beautiful rare blackwood cabinet with symbolic carvings of a bat for long life and prosperity and happiness and the pair of fish for abundance and wealth and harmony. The cabinet comes with the original stand that is missing the two drawers. It is very rare to find the cabinet with the original stand. The items inside the cabinet do not come with the cabinet. Jade pig dragon also known as Zhulong in Chinese. It is well carved and would make a nice pendant.It is an very old jade. Size: L. 5.5cm, W. 4cm

A very rare Bronze Seal that was used as a pendant with an old glass bead. There are still remnants of the gold leaf surrounding the seal. I judge it as a Han seal or earlier. I have never came across one like this before

A beautiful authentic Western Han pottery cocoon jar in the shape of a silkworm cocoon. The outer surface is embellished with the original painted abstract banding and scrolling designs in pigments of dark and light brick reds, grey blue, and white. Size: H. 28cm.L. 31cm. Authentic detailed Tang Horse Groom of a foreigner.There is still a lot of pigment still remaining on the surface and a very detail casting of the face of the groom. This comes from a collection excavated in 1998. See last photo. Size: H.49cm. W. 15cm. Condition: No repairs.

The bottom of the main body has a sound hole with an openwork carving of a stylized "shou" character meaning longevity (this bottom panel is a separate piece of huanghuali)...
