This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1890s. It is a transitional set, just before the company became Cauldon. It was made especially for Gilman and Collamore of New York. The porcelain is extra fine and has molded swirls in the body. The decoration of tiny corn flower garlands is hand painted. Garlands of gilded leaves entwine with the corn flowers creating a delicate pattern. Tiny sprigs dot the outside of the cup. The scalloped borders, the gilded trim and fine porcelain make this a delightful cup and saucer. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. It is made of bone china and has molded decorations and an ornate handle. The decoration is known as “Spanish Lace”. Fine gilding is accented with raised enamel beading and hand painted flowers. The pattern covers the entire surface of both pieces. The rims and handle are gilded. It has a unique shape and Victorian charm. Condition: Excellent

The set is made of bone china. The cup features the traditional Worcester ring handle. The set is decorated with alternating bands of gold and yellow. The gold bands contain chains of hand painted chrysanthemums and the yellow bands have ornate gilding. The well of the saucer and interior bottom of the cup have a gilded flower medallion. The border is gilded and the handle is heavily gilded. Asian influence of this period inspired the aesthetic design exemplified in this demitasse cup and saucer. Condition: Excellent

The set is made of fine bone china. The cup features a puffy blown out shape and an art nouveau style handle. The type of decoration is known as “Spanish Lace”. The surfaces of both pieces are covered with fine, lacy gilding with hand painted flowers accenting the design. The borders have a kind of sepia wash tinged with gold. It gives the set an antique effect. Condition: Except for a bit of crazing on the bottom of the saucer, invisible to the naked eye, this set is in excellent condition.

The colors are bright and the hand painting well done. The rim is trimmed with dentil gilding. Condition: Excellent

It is hand painted with realistic flowers in brilliant colors. There is ornate gilding and gilded accents. The gray border is livened up with gilding. Condition: There is some wear to gilding in the border design and slight scuffs to the center gilding.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Coalport in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked, but from the shape of the blank and the type of decoration we can attribute it to Coalport. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It has a cobalt blue border that is accented with French enamel. There are sprays of hand painted flowers in bright colors around the center of the plate. A gold medallion is directly in the middle of the plate. There are gilded accents and the rim is trimmed with gold. It is unusual to find this French enamel on a Coalport piece. Condition: There are surface scuffs and scratches on gilding in the center and on some of the trim. It will display well.

The plate is made of fine, white bone china. The rim is slightly scalloped. The center of the plate and the border are hand painted with colorful fruits and berries. It has lacy and heavy gold accents. There are 2 plates offered In this listing. You may purchase one or both. Condition: The gold in the center of the plates has some minor scuffing and light scratches.

These 12 porcelain dinner plates were produced in England by Spode Copelands China in the 1890s. They were produced especially for the high end retailer T. Good & Co. of London. The plates measure 10 ¾ inches in diameter. They are made of fine, white bone china. The set was used for decoration only. They are completely hand painted with floral centers and border reserves. No two plates are the same. Around the borders there are triangular ornaments painted with branches of berries surrounded by fine vermicelli gilding. The gilding around the reserves is raised paste of the highest quality. The gilding is accented with white enamel beads or jewels. The detail and quality of workmanship is astonishing. All of this combined with a vibrant pink ground will make your table or cabinet light up. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The date cipher indicates this year. The plate was made especially for the New York retailer, Wilhelm & Graef. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It is made of fine bone china. The ground color is pale yellow. Four center panels and two bands of ruby red enamel form the decoration. The entire surface of the plate has incredible raised gilding. The design is inspired by Persian influence that Crown Derby was intrigued with. The pattern on this plate is like an embroidered tapestry. Condition: Excellent

The saucer measures 5 ¼ inches and the cup is 2 ¾ inches high. The set has wonderful celeste blue enamel coloring. There are bands of tiny hand painted flowers accenting the rims. Gilded accents and gold trim on rims and handles add to the design. CONDITION: Excellent

It is elaborately hand enameled with raised paste gilding. There are urns overflowing with fruits and flowers. There are instruments and lit touches, flower swags and arabesques in unbelievable quantity. The design nearly covers the entire plate. This pair of porcelain goblets or chalices was produced in England by Royal Worcester in the late 1870s. The mark goes off the edge of the porcelain not showing the date letter assigned to the year they were produced. The famous Worcester artisan, George Owen, was the first to perfect the art of double walled porcelain. The chalices are 7 ¾ inches high with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches at the opening. The outer layer of porcelain on the bodies is delicately pierced in honeycomb fashion. The pedestal bases are completely pierced through. The rims are jeweled with raised enamel beads. There are reserves of Japanese style herons painted in gold enamel paint. The reticulated surfaces are accented with raised gold beading and there are bands of tooled gilding. This pair is a magnificent work of porcelain art. Condition: Excellent

The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high ad the opening has a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The set is decorated with hand painted swags and gilded ornaments in a classical style. Tiny flowers dot the porcelain of both pieces. Condition: There is minor wear to the gilded rims. There are no other defects.
