This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Studio in the 1880s. Both pieces are signed with the hand painted lamb marking. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 7/8 inches. The cup features a split branch handle and rococo pedestal base. The ground color is sky blue. The exterior of the cup has a hand painted panoramic scene. Children are playing in the woods. They are painted in fine detail and bright coloring in a wooded landscape. The saucer has elaborate, raised gilding. The gilding is matching on the cup. This is an early Lamm Dresden cup and saucer in the style of Royal Vienna and Meissen, that is very rare. Condition: Excellent. For accuracy, the cup has 3 minute pits in the glaze inside, The foot of the saucer is rough from the factory. It was made that way.

The plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. Each piece has cartouches containing brilliantly colored, hand painted flowers. They are framed with elaborate hand gilding. The rims of each piece have delicate lacy gold borders. This is the most exquisite and elegant design produced by the most prestigious porcelain manufacture. Condition: Excellent, without flaws of any kind.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. They have first quality crossed swords marks under the glaze. The saucers are 4 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cups feature a split branch twist handle. Each piece is decorated with hand painted sprigs of tiny flowers. They are accompanied by tiny bugs, painted in color and in gold. There are gilded accents to the flowers. The rims are trimmed with fancy gold borders. Condition: Excellent antique condition, without defects of any kind.

These 10 porcelain double handled cups and saucers were produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. There are Rococo style molded designs in the delicate, translucent porcelain. The handles are also done in that ornate fashion. Each piece is beautifully hand painted with pastoral scenes of young lovers in gardens. There are two scenes on each piece as well as lovely floral arrays. They have elaborate gilded trim and accents on the handles and rims. These charming cups and saucers would have been used for cream soup or bouillon, but with a little imagination, you could use them for fruit or your favorite dessert. Only five are pictured but the set consists of 10 cups and saucers. Condition: Excellent

The cup is 3 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The front of the cup has hand painted scene of a mountain lodge. The painting is highly detailed in vivid colors. There are two figures in the foreground with a dog and a person hanging out of a window. The shingles on the roof, the wood panels, and people on the porch are painted in amazing miniature detail. The surrounding mountains and trees are exquisitely portrayed. It appears to be a very inviting place, perhaps no longer in existence, except for this cup. Condition: Slight wear to gilding inside rim of cup and gold around well of saucer.

There is an elaborate gilded cartouche on the front of the cup containing a Watteau scene. An 18th century couple is sitting in a wooded landscape. They are beautifully hand painted in bright colors. The sides of the cup and body of the saucer have ornate hand gilding. The interior rim of the cup and well of the saucer have delicate gilding. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. This is the highest quality no other company can duplicate.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Maunfactory around 1770. The factory used only the under glaze blue scepter marking at that time. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Colorful, hand painted Watteau scenes decorate both pieces. 18th century lovers are spending time in the countryside engrossed in conversation. The borders are decorated with a green fish scale pattern punctuated with a knot of flowers here and there. The handle is accented with a feathering of purple enamel. The rims are trimmed with gold. This is a splendid example of an early KPM tea cup and saucer. Condition: There is slight wear to gilding on rims.

The front of the cup has a very intricate scene of a city Bautzen. There was great variety in the forms of architecture making it an interesting subject matter. It is hand painted in fine detail. There are two figures in the foreground. It is a marvelous representation of that city from a 200 year old perspective. Condition: Slight wear to gilding on saucer.

The saucers are 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. They are can shaped with deep saucers. There is raised gold trim on all of the pieces. The colors are exciting and vibrant. They would make an elegant addition to your table. Condition: Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain bouillon cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden in the late 19th century. The porcelain blanks were made by the Ohme Factory in Silesia, Germany and sold white ware to the Wolfsohn factory for decoration. The porcelain blanks are extremely delicate and translucent. They have a swirl pattern molded into them with the saucers being scalloped on the rims. The cups have two handles. The decoration is all hand painted. There are tendrils of flowers alternating with yellow panels. All of the panels are outlined with gold and there are lacy gilded borders in a number of places including inside the rim of the cup. A gilded medallion is in the center of each saucer. These bouillon cups and saucers are a delightful confection for display or use. Condition: Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. The rims of each piece are crimped and scalloped. All are hand painted, with no two pieces exactly the same. The monochrome floral painting of Dresden style flowers is accented with gold. The rims are all trimmed with gold. There are two orange, two gray, two yellow and two puce sets with a total of 24 pieces. They are a true delight to see and use. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain ramekins or custard cups with underplates was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 1 ½ inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The porcelain has scalloped edges. All pieces are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. The cups are decorated inside and out. The borders are trimmed with lacy hand gilding. They are versatile and you may use them in so many ways. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen. The mark dates from the period around 1750. The crossed swords mark is under glaze and is first quality. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high. It does not have a handle. The shape of the set is in the form of a lotus blossom. There are finely hand painted sprays and sprigs of flowers scattered across each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: It is in very good, un-restored condition. There is some light wear to painted decoration in the saucer. There is slight rubbing to the gilded trim on the rims. The foot rings are slightly rough. These are commensurate with the age of this item.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Ludwigsburg in 1770. The Ludwigsburg factory was formed in 1759 under royal patronage of Duke Carl Eugen and it became one of the leading European porcelain manufacturers between the years 1760 and 1775. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The clays that were available in the area produced a beige rather than white color porcelain. The hand-painted flowers are similar to those of the Meissen factory. This is no surprise since some of the artists had actually worked at Meissen. Burgundy colored enamel accents the handle and trims the rims of each piece. This is a genuine 18th century treasure. Condition: There is slight rubbing to the rim of the cup.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1917. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 6” and the cup measures 3 ¼” high (without the handle) with a diameter of 3 ¾”. The cup features an empire style handle and paw feet. There is a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great who was king of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The portrait is very detailed with excellent coloring. A frame of tooled, ornate gilding encircles the portrait. There are wide bands of gold trimming the rims and gold accents on the scrolled handle. This is a wonderful addition for one who appreciates items of historical significance. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup was made in Germany by a Up-scale Dresden decorator in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The cup is wide at the top and tapers towards the middle. The ground color is iridescent green. There is a reserve on the front of the cup with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden setting. The painting is extremely fine and very colorful. It is surrounded by a ring of raised gold beads or jewels. The rest of the cup has fine gold trellis work, swags of gold flowers and ribbons, all in raised gold. The decoration on the saucer is identical. The fine quality of workmanship and style is indicative of Donath Dresden. The use of the gilded flower covering the maker’s mark of the porcelain is also typical of their work. Condition: Excellent with slight gold wear.
