Japanese mixed wood heavy weight Cyprus, Cedar and Pine wood two(2) section Tansu, chest on chest, Ca. Meiji period, 19th C., 42" high, 34" wide, 17" deep, with original reddish brown finish with heavy black iron round back plates and handles. Upper section with two(2) long graduated size drawers above one(1) long and one(1) short graduated size drawers next to two(2) small drawers on the right side bottom. There are two(2) cracks on the lower section, one on the lower left short drawer in front and another cracker is on the second drawer from the bottom on the right side, cracks are about 4" to 6" long. Some Kanji writing on the bottom of the both pieces, and some splits in the back from age and dryness over the years. The condition is heavy original, as is condition.

Chinese Celadon crackled Stoneware Vase, ca. Ming period 1425-1644, 7" high, 5 1/2" wide-widest part, nicely crackled and shows raised rings like turning wheel pattern on the entire body by the turning wheel by the artist. Glazed with Celadon color inside the heavy top rim area, and the bottom is unglazed. One side shows darker area caused by the firing with wood burning inside the Dragon kiln. Chinese dome top woven Bamboo Basket on attached high stand, Ca. before 1900, 11 1/2" high, 11" diameter top rim with brass hinged round dome top. Two(2) Brass handles on the both sides and Brass lock compartment in front. Two(2) brass rings hold the top and bottom together. Low relief Chinese floral design on the lacquered gesso panels on the high foot. Gesso applied on the cloth finish, and glued together inside the top rim area. The condition is as is found condition, shows wears and separation between woven basket and gesso decorated area.

Chinese 19th Century Famille Verte Porcelain Pillow, Ca. mid to late 1800's, 9 3/4" wide-front, 6" deep, 6 3/8" high-front lower part, with overglaze enamel decorated of double Peacocks on the mosey rocks draped by Plum tree branches and flowers in the front lower part. Couple Swans with giant Lotus flowers and Pods in the backside of the higher part, and bottom is not decorated, shows orange peel surface. Large open area on one side to grab the pillow with hand, the other side has double coin shape openings decorated with small flowers for air circulation. One(1) corner on the bottom is filled with clay about 1/2" wide and small area was painted over later date. This pillow shows some glaze worn area around the corners.

Set of Eight(8) Japanese different shades of Gold Maki lacquered covered bowls, Ca. late Meiji early 1900, 3 1/4" high include top or cover, 4 1/2" diameter top rim. Raised low relief design of Gold Maki Lacquered Ferns and other flowering plants behind rock garden in early spring on dark chocolate color of lacquer on wood. The beautiful and detailed fine Lacquer work was done two different shades of gold in different relief design continues to the cover, bottom and side. Inside the bowl is very light color of cafe au lait color, different than outside dark chocolate color. Two(2) gold lacquer butterflies decorated under the cover. There are very minimal few tiny lacquer chips average size of 1/8" on the bottom and top rim, not very noticeable.
