Tibetan Repousee raised Silver on Burlwood Tea Bowl, Tsampa Tea Bowl, Ca. early 1900, 4 3/8" diameter-top rim, 2 5/8" high, 2 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, smooth silver lining over the top of the Burlwood rim, raised intricate hand hammered design on the side, continue on with intricate silver work over the high raised foot, and cover the entire sunken bottom with large Silver Conch Shell. 19th Century Dutch Marquetry Upholstered Side Chair, Ca. 1830's, 36" high, 17" wide-seat front, 19 1/2" high-front seat to top of the back, straight leg in front, tapered leg in the back, Marquetry work of floral and scrolling vines on front, back, both sides and cross bar, top splat back is deep and rounded top in the back, the upholstered seat is new and brass buttons, the wood is either walnut or Mahogany in mostly original condition, tight joint, Marquetry work is in good condition, some stains off lower part of the legs.

Japanese Porcelain Kutani Tea Pouring Cup or Tea Water Cup, Ca. 1900, 4" x 4" wide, 1 5/8" high include handle, with two(2) molded raised brilliant Gold Handles on the side, sharp pointed Spout like Bird's Beak, family outings with playing shamisen in large panel, two(2) smaller cartouches filled with farm houses with straw thatched roof under the pine trees on the lake, attic windows and vertical wooden windows are all decorated with raised brilliant gold, and beautiful Chrysanthemum flowers against Bamboo fence inside other Cartouche. Beautiful very fine strokes of soft pastel Pink and Gray Chrysthensmum flowers with soft Gray color of leaves and branches inside the bottom. The details of fine brush strokes are so exquisite and so fine, I wonder how they painted such a fine design. Bottom is marked with "Kutani" plus more Kanji writing in Red. The condition is good, all the gold decoration is in a such a excellent condition.

Japanese Satsuma Earthenware square shape small Censer, Incense Pot, Meiji, 1900, 2 1/8" high, 2" square-top rim, supported by four(4) small bracket feet, the Gold and enamel painting are very small finely done. Each Panel is decorated with flying Dragon, Phoenix Bird and other flying Mythetical animals in round circling cartouche in the middle with accented by detailed design. The condition is good except some raised fine detailed gold paintings are worn.

Japanese Tansu, heavy Keyaki Wood and Black Wrought Iron mounted Hardware one piece Tansu or Chest, Ca. Meiji 1890 - 1910, 30" high, 33" wide, 17 1/2" deep with graduated three(3) long drawers, secondary wood for interior and back is Cedar wood, heavy thick Black Iron large round back plates and handles, black iron wrapped around every corners in front and back, edges of the front decorated with black iron very close together, two(2) round handles on each side lower area for easier lifting because this Tansu is very heavy piece, and above two(2) handles has lift up two(2) square handles for carrying with wooden stick by two(2) men front and back. The finish is original reddish dark Brown chestnut color on the beautiful Keyaki wood Grains, couple splits in the back side from shrinkage over the years.

Chinese Export Porcelain large Mandarin Tankard, or Mug, Ca. 1790, Qianlong period, 5 3/4" high, 4 3/4" diameter-top rim, 7" wide include handle, very intricate detailed Iron Red and purple water along the shore, Chinese Merchants pointing to the other side ware house building area on the shore embankment, Sampans are docked near the shore, ware houses and Europen style Buildings are on both side of the shore inside large main Cartouche under Black and Iron Red diaper on the top rim, followed by floral vines and branches down below all around. The handle has Thumb Grip, Kiln Craze on top of the handle, hair line on the bottom side of the handle. The details of this overglazed enamel design of this tankard is first class and very well done, and specially brilliant gold accents are just beautiful. Bottom is unglazed except rim.

Japanese Satsuma Earthenware round covered Container, signed by Sozan, Ca. Meiji period 1868-1912, 1 3/4" high, 2 5/8" diameter, very fine quality of brush strokes, family gathering in courtyard setting in the center, surrounded by very intricate small floral and mosaic design outer area on the round high dome top cover, and continue on to the bottom piece. When you open the box, you will see the cluster of Wisteria flowers with butterflies flying under the cover and on the bottom inside the box. Entire box is so beautifully decorated with full of stories. This container is in good condition.
