This is a magnificent Antonio Pineda bracelet which I've never seen before and believe to be very rare. Likely dating to the 1950's, this bracelet showcases three natural untreated blue star sapphire stones. The center stone is approx 5 ct. Each stone sits in a star setting. This early Antonio Pineda bracelet is quite rare and all out spectacular. His "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates 1948-1953. Eight teardrop amethyst cabs in almost pure silver panels which alternate up and down, each separated by four silver balls. Pin closure. Weight is 98.9 grams. Measures 8" end to end, width 1 1/4". Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. It's a very striking and unique piece which immediately commands attention. This Fred Davis bracelet pulls out all the stops. It's a magnificent piece with six huge amethysts and a sleek silver design with opposing "V's". Dating 1930's - 40's, this amethyst bracelet from Fred Davis pulls out all the stops. The repoussé silver work is superb. This mid-century Abraham Paz bracelet is a work of art. Paz was a master silversmith who, like Valentin Vidaurreta, produced work for Fred Davis. Much of this work was hallmarked with the FD mark for Davis. This piece, however, is signed with the AP mark for Abraham Paz, but produced for Davis to be sold at Sanborns, as it is also marked with the eagle assay 22. Circa mid-century, this bracelet and matching earrings were produced by Antonio Pineda.

It's a gorgeous set with aventurine stones and an edgy modernist design. Truly stunning on the wrist and ears. Earrings have been professionally converted from screw backs to clips, and they are easy to wear and very comfortable.

Bracelet measures a closed, wearable length of 6 1/2", with a width of 9/16". Earrings measure 3/4" x 5/8".

Offered here are four Hector Aguilar bangles. Two are 990 silver with HA hallmarks from 1940-1945. One is hallmarked with the HA Sterling TB marks from 1943-1948. One is marked Taxco HA eagle assay 9. Each measures 2 1/2" in diameter. Total weight is 88.6 grams. All are collector quality. The 990 design is shown on p. 141 of Silver Masters of Mexico. Circa mid-century, this quatrefoil pendant necklace is the work of "JVL". This master silversmith produced work for Antonio Pineda. I have had this exact design cosigned with both "JVL" and the Antonio Pineda crown hallmark. This Antonio Pineda pin is a superb early creation, with a repoussé silver upper segment and a large amethyst cabochon dangle. The recesses are oxidized giving a great deal of depth.

I have not seen this design before and believe it to be quite rare.

Dating to the late 1930's, from his first design period, this William Spratling ring features a large amethyst cabochon flanked on each side by five silver beads.

The amethyst stone measures 19mm in diameter. The ring is a size 7.

This pre-1948 necklace from Doris Silver measures 17 1/2" long. I have not seen this design before, and it is really beautiful. Looks amazing on, and very flattering. The three flowers each measure 1 5/8" x 2 3/16" and have a turquoise cabochon at the center. Signed and hallmarked Doris Silver Corpus Artisans Mexico. Weight is 51.6 grams. This Margot de Taxco pin is a rarely seen design, with open-back repoussé and tiny silver beading which graduates in size. This double facing swan design is Margot's # 5291, and is collector quality.
